Closing Time

Time has passed, and the sky has already turned dark. The door of the front café is open as two customers who look happy chatting with each other just get out of the café.

"Thank you for coming, Onii-chan, Hope you can come again!!"

Mafuyu with a very cheerful smile looks at both customers who are leaving the café with a satisfied look on their faces.

Soon after both of the customers left, Mafuyu then changed the board sign from 'open' to 'closed'. As she slowly entered the café. After entering the café, her expression soon changed from acting cheerful into her usual expression, which is her usual straight face.

"And that is the last one." Said Mafuyu as she reported to everyone.

"Thank you for your hard work."

"Good work everyone."

As soon as they finish their work in the café, they start to tidy up all the things in the café that will be used for tomorrow.

"*sigh* Today was so tiring after that accident…"

Mafuyu who just sighs as she implored about the accident that was related to the delinquent, showed a tired look on her face while tidying the café.

"I know right…"

Kaho, who was also with a tired look, nodded at Mafuyu's words while agreeing.

"I didn't even know what was going on back then until Shin told me all the situations in the kitchen."

Koyo, who just finished tidying everything in the kitchen, soon left the kitchen and replied to them with a tired look on his face.

"Speaking of Shin…"

As Mafuyu heard the name 'Shin' from Koyo's words, she soon looked in the direction where Shin is with eyes full of curiosity. Shin himself who is still tidying things as he is being stared at by Mafuyu only smiles wryly.

"I didn't expect you to be someone this talented at fighting…"

"Yeah, even though the customer was a rude bastard, he still has a body that is buffed… But to think that you handled that buffed guy so easily..."

When Koyo and Mafuyu stare at Shin with an impressed look on their gaze, the only thing that Shin thought about was the delinquent capabilities.

'I mean the only good thing about that rude customer is his buff body which I think it's a bit average... And if I were to point out the things that I found disappointing... No technique, unrefined punch, and body that is not that impressive other than the fact that he has just a bit of a buff body… I mean, if you have to compare physical capability between Takeo, then the rude person is so weak that the only thing that Takeo just needs to do to knock him down is to slap him.'

As Shin quickly finishes gathering his thoughts, Mafuyu soon asks him.

"So the movement that you do at that time, is some kind of martial art?"

"Yeah, I just learned some martial arts in the past."

When Koyo and Mafuyu heard this, they nod in understanding while looking at Shin. Soon, Kaho with a smile also joined the conversation as she asked Shin a question.

"So You really learned martial arts in the past, huh?"

"Yeah..."

Shin, who heard Kaho's question, somehow gets confused on why she asks him about the same question that Mafuyu just asks, but he just shrugs it off since he thinks she just didn't hear his answer.

When Kaho heard Shin answer her question, she then reminisced as she mumbled something from her mouth while showing a smile.

"So back then at the arcade wasn't a coincidence…"

"Kaho?"

Mafuyu, who noticed Kaho just mumbling something from her mouth, looked at Kaho with a confused look. This made Kaho, who noticed Mafuyu's gaze surprised as she quickly replied to her.

"Ah… Don't worry, It's nothing important!"

Mafuyu, still looking at Kaho with suspicion and the reason why she still keeps doing that is because of the obvious reason, which is due to Kaho's face turning red as she cannot even hide her blush. But in the end, Mafuyu only dropped the topic until there since she doesn't really like to pry on something that people are trying to hide.

Shin, on the other hand, notices Kaho who is blushing, only gets confused as to why she was to blush. But in the end, he just shrugged it off since he knew that is probably something that only Kaho would be familiar with.

"Anyway, there is something that keeps me wondering..."

"And that is?"

Suddenly Koyo is still wondering about something to talk to Shin. Shin, who is curious about what Koyo is wondering, asks him a question about it.

"How did you predict that guy is going to use violence, it's like you already know that he will resort to violence as you prepare a phone to record it?"

Mafuyu and Kaho, who heard Koyo's question, suddenly get interested in the topic and look at Shin with a curious gaze. Shin looks at them with a deadpan as he wonders why they even need to be curious about something like this.

"Isn't it basic common sense to prepare something to record beforehand so that you can later threaten someone if that person is rude to you…"

All of them who just heard what Shin just said were so surprised that they were speechless. All of them didn't think that Shin was already used to this kind of situation as he was to think of it as common sense instead of taking precautions. Now all of them start to wonder what kind of past Shin has to gain this kind of common sense.

Shin, who sees their reaction toward him, soon realizes his mistake as he accidentally mistook his common sense to be the same as they are. This is due to the fact that the time he spent in his past life has become his habit in his current life, which he still carried until now.

"Ah no, you see what I mean is that Stile doesn't have any CCTV or anything that can keep watching the situation around the café, right? That is why I use my phone to record the accident that is happening around the café, so no accident will happen."

As Shin explains this to his co-worker, he looks at his co-worker's expression on their face. Kaho only smiles wryly at him, Mafuyu shows a deadpan as she looks at him, and Koyo sighs with a tired expression on his face.

'*sigh* It seems it's too late to change their mind… Old habits die hard indeed…' Shin who looks at their faces soon figures that they haven't bought a single thing that he just said as he soon sighs tiredly.

Soon after they finish talking about their discussion about the earlier accident, they then tidy up all the things that need to be tidy up for tomorrow. After that, they soon change their uniform clothes into their normal clothes as they are about to go home.

"So the manager still hasn't arrived yet?" Asked Kaho while wondering with a confused look.

"Yeah, it seems there is a delay, so he probably will arrive tomorrow between midnight and morning since he just flew this afternoon, did you not see the message in the group?" Koyo, who sees the message from the group, looks at Kaho with a confused look.

"He-he… My phone battery almost ran out, so I haven't opened it since this afternoon." Said Kaho while laughing wryly.

"Don't tell me you play games in the school until your battery runs out…" Said Shin with a deadpan gaze while looking at her.

"How rude… I only play when there is a break time in school, but somehow the problem is that today I forgot to charge my phone before coming to school." Said Kaho while pouting as she looked at Shin with an irritated look.

"Is that the real reason?" Shin soon gives her a smug smile as he teases Kaho.

Kaho who heard this soon walks toward Shin as she then starts to hit Shin with punches that have no strength in them while pouting. This causes Shin to laugh which makes Kaho somewhat more irritated but somehow there is a bit of blush on her face.

"Anyway, since it's already closing time, let's get out of the café first, since I have to lock the café." Koyo soon calls everyone to get out since he is about to lock the café front door. Soon all of them went outside as Koyo locked the front door of the café. They then talk to each other before they soon split up.

"Then I will be going first. See you all later."

"Later."

"Later everyone."

"See you all!!"

Soon everybody starts going home as they slowly walk away from the café. But even so, two people are still walking together even though they already left the café and those two people are Shin and Kaho.

The reason why they go home together is that they follow the same path to go home, which makes them always spend time with each other every time they go home from the stile. But unlike how they usually spend time talking with each other, this time they only stay quiet as they walk with each other.

The atmosphere around them is full of awkwardness after the accident in the café. The reason why Kaho can speak with Shin is because Mafuyu and Koyo are there.

Right now, Kaho who is walking side by side with Shin shows a blush on her face while staying quiet, and Shin on another side who looks at Kaho's expression for a bit is only flustered a bit as he also stays quiet. He wants to say something, but after looking at her face, he somehow starts to get self-conscious, but still, he wants to break this awkward atmosphere that is around both of them.

As Shin is about to say something to Kaho, Kaho herself says something first.

"H-hey…"
