Wú Ai's POV

"I'm here to see father and I beseech you to have some respect for me, I'm still a part of this family and I remain the elder of this family. "

"Ān, throw her out now"

"Stop it, Mei. You are biting more than you can chew." father interrupted.

"Ai, my child. Welcome home" he said with open arms and I ran to hug him.

"I'm sorry, father. I'm sorry I had to go against you"

"It's okay, Ai. Let's go in now"

"Wait, father. A taxi driver has been waiting outside for over ten minutes because the gate keeper wouldn't let me in. I think you should compensate him for his kind gesture and I also have a guest with me"

"Really? Is that it? I must compensate him myself"

Father went outside the gate, exchanged pleasantries with Qianfan and the driver and gave him three times of what he charged. He thanked father and left while Qianfan, father and I went back to the house.

I met everyone at the living room and most of them looked at me in disgust, even my own mother. I wanted to greet them but father stopped me.

"I don't think they're in the best mood to welcome you now. Let the maids take you to your room and provide this young man with a room"

"Thank you, father" I said and the maids took my bag and led me to my room

The maid opened the door of my room and I just stared in admiration. A lot has changed in my room, it was like everything old thing has been replaced with a new one and it looks just like when we first moved in to the house.

"No one has been allowed access into your room since you left, my lady"

"Thank you, drop my bag over that corner. You can leave"

I shut the down behind and jumped on the bed like a pauper. I took off my clothes and went to bathroom; it was in full glory. I felt like screaming to express my joy but I wouldn't want anyone to take me for a mad person so I comported myself. I took my bath and walked out in my towel robe. My room was equivalent to an average man's house so I have a seperate sector where my clothes are kept. I called some maids in.

"Prepare me something nice to wear. Your, come dress my hair"

I felt happy and relieved having servants at my fingertips after three years of living like a nobody. I watched at my reflection in the mirror as the maids dressed my hair and gave me a new but elegant look.

The other two maid brought my dress and wore it on me. I got mesmerized by what I saw in the mirror that I almost drool. Another maid walked in.

"My lady, the table is set."

"Set? For dinner?"

"Yes, my lady"

"What time is it? Why haven't they eaten already?"

"They have eaten but Master requested that another meal should be prepared and everyone is to participate in welcoming you back. "

"Wow! That's great. I'll be down in a bit"

The maids held my dress while I walk down the stairs to meet my family.

"Míng, be a gentleman and go walk her down here" father said, beaming with a smile

Su Qianfan's POV

The servant led me to the room while I dragged my feet and stared at the house in amusement.

"Walk fast, will you?" one of the servants yelled at me and I hurriedly met up with their pace.

"Here is your room, make sure to always keep it clean" the other one said and they both left

I dropped my bag on the table and walked around the room as if I was in a fantasy world. Though, my family is rich as well but I guess even the has levels and standards.

I took my bath and was about to change when I heard a knock on the door. My mind quickly went to Ai and I opened the door without a second thought but it was a maid. She quickly closed her eyes and turned.

"Master told me to call you to the dinning room"

"Okay, I'll just change and come out" I replied and she left.

I closed the door, got dressed and went to the dinning room. We all sat and waited for Ai to join us.

"Father, this is partial." A lady who happened to be called Mei said

"What is partial? Welcoming my daughter back home?"

"That Isn't what she meant, dad. We've all had dinner and here we are again, about to have another because of someone who chose a stranger over her family." Mei's mom said

"You all should shut up, don't make me lose my temper"

From what I experienced at the dinning, only a few people love Ai. A man about my age also joined us, it was my first time seeing someone on suit.

"Good evening, everyone" he said as he took his seat beside me

"You were almost running late. Thank goodness, Ai isn't out yet"

"I think I'll go check her" the youngest said and from the way the spoke, I could tell that she loves and misses Ai.

"No bother. The maid already sent for her, she'll be here anytime soon."

Then we heard footsteps approaching from the stairs and the shoes emerged first, then the dress and then Ai.

"Was she always this beautiful or am I seeing someone else?" I thought as she walked down the stairs with the maids holding her dress.

I was about to go walk down the stairs when her father spoke.

"Míng, be a gentleman and go walk her down here" her father said, beaming with a smile. He was referring to the man seated beside me.

Míng walked Ai and gave her a seat beside him. I became furious.

"She was supposed to sit with me and not some guy" I thought.

"Ai, it's nice to have you back" the youngest said but his elder brother hit her on the head.

"Will you stop bullying her?"

"I'm sorry, father"

"I miss you too, Li nà. I'll be expecting me in my room tomorrow. Dad, what is Míng doing here?"
