Just as yu yue and the others got outside a black fog surrounded the inn.
"hehehe. Little girl, do you really think you guys could easily win the sect exchange?" a sinister cackle was heard before the black fog parted and an old man with greedy eyes strode leisurely with hands on his back.
Following behind was no other than fan xing xing with malicious smile. There are also several men in black with the same attire as those people yu yue and the others encountered in green mist forest on their way to central region.
The heavenly star sect master look at mingy yu hua arrogantly, he scanned his eyes in the vicinity and it landed on little shan shan. "if you hand that white flute to me, I'll consider letting you guys die with an intact body" he demanded without any trace of shame at all as if their lives are already under his grasps.
"not only you're old and shameless, you're greedy too" yu yue giggled as she narrowed her eyes coldly.
The old man's disdainful eyes landed on her as he sneered. "I see; you won't reciprocate unless you see the coffin" he leaps as his hands forming a claw reaching for shan shan.
"bang!" Before he could touch her though yu yue throw a chaos stone to his face directly. With a loud bang the flesh around his hands were blown into bits. He was unable to dodged it and it exploded upon contact when he tried to catch it with bare hands.
"you have guts" he withdraws his hand with a hissed as murderous intent gushed out of his body and his foundation establishment peak stage's suppression permeated.
However, mingy yu hua easily dissipate his coercion and they engaged in a fight.
He didn't directly kill everyone; he wants to have the flute first. However, fan xing xing doesn't have the same idea as she coldly ordered when she saw the opportunity. "kill them first" she spat squinting her eyes to yu yue's direction.
The men controlling the death fog all smiled sinisterly as the fog swarm towards them like a hungry smoke. The surroundings sizzled as it gets corroded and it emitted a foul stench.
"quickly use your teleportation talismans to get out of here" yu yue ordered to the little ones. She already discussed this with them just in case, however seeing that even after injecting their qi nothing happened. Her expression falter showing a rare helpless look of despair.
"third miss, it's not working" they look at her doubtfully.
"hahaha, teleportation talisman won't work here. You should all just become a sacrificial lamb obediently. It's your fault for offending someone you shouldn't" she jeered gloatingly for their imminent death.
"what do you mean?" yu yue's expression was crestfallen, she calculated anything possible but not this.
"hehe, elder liu set up a trapping array so there's no escaping for you" she smiled malevolently as she witnessed how they struggled with all their might but to no avail.
