CHAPTER 246: Sect exchange (2)

Sect exchange is the most important event throughout the central region, it's the time where they get to show off their sect's prowess in martial arts and talents. Strength is the most important thing in sects, without it their positions could be forfeited.

There are hundreds of sects existing in the region, but only one hundred of them are recognized. The top five would be among the five great sects who would wield greater power and influence. They would be able to enter floating mist island.

Floating mist island is abundant with resources, however it would only be open to the public once a year. Those at the five great sects could enter the island as long as they wish, it's not like they could enter casually as it is extremely dangerous.  Also, it is a sacred cultivation ground despite the dangers.

The sect exchange is designed to be held every year to give chance to other sects, no one would like a single sect monopolizing the resources. Twin moon sect is aiming to the top five in order to let their disciples cultivate in the island. No spirit gathering array could compare to the quality of spirit qi there.

This time yu xue'er couldn't go to cloud river city with them, after giving it some thought yu yue didn't brought lady shan shou, hua ling, and wang ling with her. She left them in the sect along with the forces under them just in case, it is not rare for sects to attack each other's territory.
