SHE WOKE IMOOGI

He wanted to live her an ordinary life.

Yeon then confronted Taluipa about the imoogi. It didn't die, did it?

At home, Ji-ah looked feverish and dreams that she's standing in the imoogi boy's talisman covered room.

Taluipa revealed that

"Ji-ah is the one who woke the imoogi. Didn't I warned you not to find her?"

Yeon scoffed and wondered what he fought for and why Ah-eum sacrificed herself.

Taluipa can't tell him where the imoogi is and again issues the stern warning that a fox and human can't be together.

As Yeon yells at Taluipa to tell him where it is, Ji-ah approached the imoogi boy who turns and greets her. Ji-ah woke up gasping in fear.

Taluipa explained him that it was hidden, "but I just found a fragment of him." The back of Ji-ah's neck was now covered in scales.

Ji-ah woke up from her dream meeting with the imoogi boy, incognizant of the scales that briefly appear on the back of her neck.

Elsewhere, Taluipa tells Yeon that a fragment of the imoogi is on Ji-ah's body. He was horrified to hear that his fox bead disappeared, allowing something in Ji-ah to awaken.

He cried as he said it took 600 years for her to be reincarnated, and all he wanted was Ji-ah to live a normal life with her family. Yeon is angered when Taluipa passes it off as Ji-ah's fate, and he surmises that she has known all along. That's why she didn't want them to meet.

The price Yeon had been paying these 600 years felt worthless, and he fumed with anger demanding Taluipa repay him. The glass in the room started shattering as Yeon advances on Taluipa. She stills the shards with a wave of her hand and ends their standoff when Hyun Eui-ong intervenes. Before Taluipa throws him out, Yeon vows to destroy every world if Ji-ah's life is shortened...

At the mansion, the imoogi boy tells the CEO that he felt like crying when he saw Ji-ah in his dream. He came after all these years just to meet her. The boy knows the CEO finds him strange now, but he counters that he's changed along with the world. The CEO worries about him being discovered, but the imoogi is hoping for it.

Hyun Eui-ong comforted Yeon,

"Taluipa loves you like a son no matter how harsh she is.Yeon don't play with fire, if you got involved then it's for sure that one of you will die!"

"I just can't stand by if Ji-ah is in trouble"

Yeon stubbornly claimed that he'll make sure Ji-ah doesn't die; he promised her she'd live a normal life.

He walks through the city, watching families play and thinking of how much Ji-ah longs for her parents.

He unknowingly was now standing at the gate of Ji-ah's house. Ji-ah invited him inside,

"Ji-ah what did you trade in replace of me?"

"The appraiser said I had a bead, so...I traded it"

Yeon struggled to stay calm in the face of her nonchalance, how can a human be so stupid?

She forthrightly confessed she didn't have the confidence to lose him.

"Fine then , I am staying at your place from now"

"..."

"It'll put you at a less risk when having to save you"

"Fine"

Ji-ah was preparing his bed

"By the way, I saw a really strange dream today. I saw a boy! at first I was afraid but then I felt glad to see him. It was meeting an old acquaintance. Do I know him?"

Yeon went stiff, why is this dream sounding like a bad premotion....

Meanwhile

Rang was drinking away his feelings upon hearing the fortune teller proclamation

"Indeed , your brother is your most precious thing"

Yoo-ri joined him and marveled at the tiger's brow which allows the wearer to see people's past lives.

"Are you sad?"

"No. I am angry"

'I hate him, so can he be my most precious possession?'

'It think my blood is 'dirtied' because of my half human side- I still have remnants of a human heart from mother.'

"Rang, you never told me about your mother. Did your mother held you and did normal mom things?"

Rang slammed his glass down in anger

Yoo-ri's curiosity about what it's like to be loved, triggered a memory of walking with his mother in the forest.

She told him to wait there, but he was scared. She screamed at him to stop making her life difficult – she couldn't even die because of him. While the scared little Rang obediently waited for his mother, a zombie-looking creature found him.

"Being loved makes it easy for people to prey on us"

He amusedly noted that Shin-joo did a number on her, making her talk like a human.

"Is it because of shin-joo?"

"Rang I am loyal to you no matter what, no creature or emotion can waver my loyalty towards you"

At his clinic, Shin-joo was ecstatic when the relationship compatibility test(from an app) it does comes out to 99% for him and Yoo-ri. Yeon and Ji-ah only got 25%. Pfft.

He was chatting with the now healthy-looking abused dog.

Ji-ah was getting fed up with Yeon who insists on creepily staring at her from the door as she sleeps, afraid to let her out of his sight.

"Come inside the room"

He hops right in her bed. And he's still staring.

"How am I supposed to sleep , when you are staring at me?"

"I can't sleep"

"My dad used to say, when we can't sleep think of things that makes us happy"

"You..."

"What?"

"I mean f-food. Food makes me happy"

"My parents"

They take turns naming a few of their favorite things, and Ji-ah drifts off to sleep. Yeon stares (again) at her sleeping face.
