EVERYONE DISAPPEARED?!

In the mirror the shaman appears to be much older woman.

In the forest,

"Hahahahahahh..... I think I have bought enough time"

"What?"

"That girl will become a sacrifice soon."

Rang holds up her phone, taunting that Yeon can't reach her. Yeon rushed to find her, but he couldn't catch her scent anymore.

Night falls, and the shaman tells the unconscious Ji-ah that her mother also came to the island voluntarily. Pregnant, she dreamed the same dream every night.

"You lured your own mother from the womb."

Ji-ah opened her eyes, listening quietly.

She felt very helpless as she was not able to move or talk. She couldn't just only lie there and listen to the shaman.

Yeon raises his arms majestically and commands the forest to light the way to Ji-ah, but nothing happens

"Aish , I think I was not in touch with powers for a long time",

Shortly after then, fireflies begin gathering and lead him forward.

Ji-ah, meanwhile, was being dragged to the well. The shaman tells her the other women were important sacrifices. She called Ji-ah a "very special child."

The shaman tries to stab her, but Ji-ah holds her own and fights. Yeon sees them struggling but can't reach there because of the primrose line the shaman drew. He threatens to cut the shaman into pieces if she hurts Ji-ah.

'Who gave her life? Who is she serving?'

She laughed and said that he can't stop her no matter what. When she strikes Ji-ah with the knife again, Ji-ah grabs it and she starts bleeding . The shaman tries to push her into the well, but Ji-ah gets ahold of the side.

Yeon watches, pained as he thinks of Ah-eum's death.

The wind gusts , as Yeon's eyes go golden as his fiery tail appears. It starts thundering and begins to rain, wiping away the shaman's primrose line. Without giving shaman a single chance to speak, with a word, he strikes the shaman down with lightening .

He grabs Ji-ah's wrist right when she is about to fall .

Elsewhere, Taluipa is livid that Yeon killed someone, whereas Rang who is there in Pyeong-hee's home, watches the rain with a scowl.

Yeon bandaged Ji-ah's hand and carried her as she couldn't walk. She asked what that shaman was, and he explain that she was just a human who wanted an extended life.

They both went away , without noticing that Ji-ah's blood stained on the walls of the well entered the well.

After returning to from the mountain , Shin-joo worriedly scolds Yeon for causing trouble over a human again.

"Yeon... you are not a child anymore, this is the second time that you have caused trouble a human"

" I think she knows something about Ah-eum..so I will keep an eye on her. By the way are you using my credit card again?"

" Hello? hello? hello... I am not able to hear you, I'll call u later"

Shin-joo hanged up on Yeon when he was about to get caught.

'Aish I should have never left my card there~this brat'

Inside their room, Ji-ah was drinking soju*. She starts blabbering nonsense, Yeon takes offense at Ji-ah's informal speech, but he changes his mind when she suggests calling him "ahjussi," the polite address towards an elderly man, instead.

Ji-ah asks why he saved her. Does she have something he's looking for?

Yeon bluntly stares at her, so Ji-ah finding this awkward situation, says to leave it be for now.

She thank him for both times he's saved her, in her childhood and now. She sweetly and a little bit dizzily said that, she doesn't have powers, but she'll make sure to protect him too one day. Yeon's eyes widen as he recalls Ah-eum saying she'd protect him with that same smile.

Ji-ah snaps him out of it, asking him to make her soju bottle into a case of soju.

"Am I Jesus?"

Elsewhere, all the villagers gather at the well, where the shaman was killed and they started peering inside intently.

In the early hours of the morning, Rang handed off a crying infant wrapped in a blanket covered with talismans to a man on the beach.

That morning, Yeon sees Pyeong-hee limping and guessed her leg was the price for revenge. He advised her not to curse someone again since it'll come back on her. Ji-ah comes running up saying every villager is missing and there's no one in the island except for them . She and Yeon walk through the empty streets in what now looks like a ghost town .

Ji-ah films the now desolate village, showing a questionable grasp of ethics as she enters people's homes.She notes that nothing was missing from their homes.Yeon reports that even the fisherman's body is missing from the bathroom. Everyone clearly went willingly, but they took nothing with them.

On the beach, they find several bamboo posts with flags forming a walkway. Yeon confirm that bamboo attracts lost souls and notes it's like the trails used to welcome the Dragon King, except it's facing the wrong direction. He calls this one a gwimunbang, a gate through which impure things travel.

At the Afterlife Immigration Office, Taluipa brief Hyun Eui-ong on the situation with the Imoogi. It's hidden from her sight, suggesting talismans were used. Despite Hyun Eui-ong's urging, Taluipa insists that Yeon should not be told. To herself, she wonders if this is why

she couldn't see Yeon's future.

On the island, Pyeong-hee shares that she heard a baby crying at 2:40 A.M. She's sure of the time since all the clocks stopped. Ji-ah realizes even her watch stopped. Yeon concludes something entered their world during the time when the doors between the worlds open (1:00-3:00 A.M.).

Meanwhile, Yoo-ri celebrates her birthday with her rich parents who gifted her expensive jewelry and a car. Her dad nags her about getting married, but her mom says she's still only 25.

He corrects that she's 24 and confusedly says his daughter got into an accident at age 24 and died. Oh, Yoo-ri frustratedly sighs when he asks who she is.

Rang shows up at Yoo-ri's just in time to stop her from possibly murdering her supposed father. He turns his single golden eye on Yoo-ri's father, reminding him that he fulfilled his wish to have his beloved daughter back.

Once they're alone, Rang checks on Yoo-ri's meeting with Shin-joo. Ah, he orchestrated it. He won't let her kill him just yet, instructing her to play Shin-joo well – Yeon cherishes him.

Once they're back in Seoul, Yeon buys Ji-ah a new phone since Rang stole hers. He warns her not to answer any numbers she doesn't recognize.He then shares that he fell victim to a phishing scam once, losing a bunch of money.

Ji-ah asks for his number... which he gives after some hesitation.
