It was utter darkness

Nothing could be heard

Nothing could be seen

"Ugh..."

Yang Li, was still feeling awful because of being drowned to death

Yang Li tightly held his head since out of no where he got a really bad headache

It got so bad Yang Li had to vomit

**Cough Cough**

Yang Li was coughing after he vomited, he wiped his mouth and suddenly realized

"W-Where is this?!"

Yang Li tensed up and tried to run to see if there was anyone, but there was no hope. he was all alone...

That is until he a gate appear in front of him

Yang Li got confused by this and opened the gate

Once he opened the gate Yang Li was sucked in by an unexplained force

Yes, this is hell

There was flames with volcanos and some blue flames scattered around the whole area

Yang Li, who was seeing this tensed up and tried to run but tripped

Yang Li got his knee bruised and sat up

He was blowing on it many times so the pain could go away

"What are you doing bud?"

Yang Li looked up and saw an old man

"Did you die bud?"

Hearing this Yang Li dazed, he remembered that he had died in the large test tube his father built

"Is the hell?"

Yang Li asked in nervousness, If this was hell, then it would have made sense..

"No, it may look like hell but its not bad as hell, this is the place where they decide if you go to heaven or hell"

Hearing this Yang Li got a bright face, he was happy he wasn't in hell since he heard from many people only bad and scary people exist there

"Do you see that line over there boy?"

The old man pointed at a group of people close by standing in a line

"That's where you get judged, they look at your life and they will decide where you would go"

Yang Li then looked at the line and ran to it, but before he could he waved at the old man

"Thank you grandpa!"

The old man smiled hearing this

"You're welcome"

Yang Li then quickly went to the line in the distance...

Yang Li has now entered the line where he either gets sent to heaven or hell

Yang Li is getting quite nervous

He had sweat coming down his forehead and is currently shaking

Its been a couple of few minutes and it was finally his turn

"Name?"

Yang Li looked up and saw a pale blue slender long eared person wearing an eunuch outfit he would see in Chinese dramas that would be played on TV

"Who are you mister?"

The blue slender man looked down at Yang Li and had somewhat of a surprised expression on his face

"You're pretty young.."

The slender blue man observed Yang Li a little and coughed a little to then starts to introduce himself

"I am Xiao Long but sometimes I go by Chris and Hikaru, I am the man who manages who goes to heaven and hell"

"Now, care to tell me your name?"

Yang Li was a little dazed until Xiao Long asked what his name was again

"My name is Yang Li!"

Xiao Long then nodded slightly and looked through some of the files next to him

"Yang Li, Yang Li, Yang Li"

Xiao Long muttered Yang Lis name many times until he found a boy with the same appearance and name as Yang Li

"Yang Li, cause of death, drowned as a lab experiment from his father, sins and bad things ever done, none"

Xiao Long observed the file once again and looked at Yang Li

"What a poor boy..."

Saying this Xiao Long looked at Yang Li again and noticed something, it made Xiao long shake in fright

"H-Hey boy, where did you g-get that r-ring from?!"

Yang Li got confused from what Xiao Long said, he saw Xiao Long pointing to his right index finger with a black and white ring on it

"Oh this? Mother gave it to me before she disappeared.."

Talking about his mother Yang Li got a a little depressed

"M-MOTHER?!?!"

"Y-yes?"

Yang Li stuttered when he suddenly heard Xiao long yelling

"Is you mothers name perhaps, L-Lu Q-Qing?!"

Yang Li got surprised hearing Xiao long saying his mothers name

"Yes?"

Xiao Long heard the answer from Yang Li almost fell down, but got himself to stand still, he was about to also cry but held it in

"Brat! You don't know what kind of person your mother is?!"

Yang Li tilted his head and looked at Xiao Long

"Xiao Long knows what kind of person my mother is?!?!"

Xiao Long looked around for a second, it seems like Yang Li was the last in line so he quickly went close to one of Yang Li's ears

"Your mother is the Goddess Of Slaughter and Darkness"

Yang Li who heard this flinched, he didn't expect that his mother would have been a god

"Does Xiao Long know what happened to mother?"

Xiao Long heard this and sighed

"Well, you see because of her getting stronger and stronger the gods of the heavens came and killed her, it was around 2 years ago"

Yang Li then got sad and started to cry, this was his first time hearing about what happened to his mother and it was very sudden

Xiao Long who saw this patted Yang Li

"Your mother was a really nice person, before I was the manager here I used to be the butler of your mother, once she found out she was being hunted by the gods she pushed me and said that I shouldn't be involved in this.."

Yang Li heard this and asked while wiping his tears

"I-Is there a way to take revenge?"

Yang Li got all his tears out of the way and his face got a little angry

Xiao Long tensed up hearing this

"You're too weak! You cant do anything to them!"

Yang Li then replied

"Can you look at my blood? If my mother was a god then maybe I inherited her genes or something?"

Xiao Long heard this and thought for a while, It would be normal if Yang Li had gotten his mothers talents and powers

Xiao Long then nodded and put his hand on Yang Li's chest to see if there was anything special

That is when Xiao Long started to realize that there was something wrong with Yang Li's DNA

Instead of twisting regularly, It was straight

This confused Xiao Long a little more and he started to investigate

That is when he decided to search through Yang Li's soul with the 'Soul Searching' method, a method given to him by the gods which could be used to see if the person's talents, memories, or even see if how many lives the person had lived

Xiao long looked at his soul and couldn't believe what he saw

It was a colorful feather, just one, inside his soul

Xiao Long investigated the feather and got to a conclusion

It was the feather of the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl

One of the three betrayers of the heavens, Yang Li's mother, Lu Qing, would have been the fourth

'This child has the blood of the feathered serpent running through his veins!'
