The System Of The Weak

June 4, Year 2010, the first gate opened, gates that connects earth to a different world.

The world changed drastically when it occurred, and the first one opened in japan.

It was a gate that suddenly opened in a school, they didn't know what its purpose at the time.

They investigated it for a few days, when suddenly after a week the gate suddenly, opened revealing monsters that suddenly attacked the investigators at the scene.

Unfortunately the investigators at the school all died, fortunately there was no students at the school.

1 week before the story starts, the first gate opened, at a busy intersection, a guy that was biking suddenly...

"Oh shit!!"

After Ren shouted, he go straight to a van that tried to beat the red light.

Ren smashed his bike at the van, he fly across the road while his head bleeds.

The bike were smashed, as well as the side of the van.

The driver of the van came out to check at the poor kid that smashed into his car. When he suddenly saw that they were getting some attention, he quickly go straight to his van and drive away.

"He's getting away!"

Ren can still hear everyone at the busy intersection. He was lying down at the floor while he's head still bleeds.

His consciousness were fading away, little by little his eyes were closing, the blood envelopes his head, while still at the middle of the road. When suddenly he lost consciousness, he's out, some people rushed to help him.

He was going to die, but luckily a passing ambulance were at the scene. They quickly helped Ren out, lifting him up to the stretcher after they investigated his body, and rushed to the nearest hospital.

Present time.

One year after the accident at the intersection occurred. Ren is still laying down at the hospital bed.

His little sister is also at the room, still waiting for Ren to wake up.

His father is at work at the Guild, his father is a S-Rank Hunter, and his mother is a A-Rank Hunter, while his sister is a B-Rank Hunter.

They were all talented but Ren in the other hand is a mere E-Rank Hunter. He was never introduced by his father because of his rank.

No one really cared about him, with the exception from her sister, that gets all the attention.

When suddenly...

Ren slowly opened his eyes after being unconscious for an entire week.

He saw the ceiling of the hospital, slowly but surely he opened his eyes.

He saw her sister that were sleeping at the bed while seating and called her.

"Ayaka, Ayaka"

Ren called for her even though he's still weak and can barely move.

The accident that occurred last week could've killed a normal human, but luckily for Ren he's not a normal human but a Hunter.

Her sister suddenly woke up, she heard a familiar voice coming from the bed where she was sleeping at.

When he looked, his brother were awake, but still in a weak state. She was surprised and happy that her older brother were awake.

"Brother, are you alright?, wait I'll call a doctor."

After she said this, she headed out the room and rushed to get a doctor.

But Ren is still wondering, on what the hell is that screen thing in front of him.

It was a screen like of the games that he played before, it was huge but see through, there some letters and numbers on it just like in a game, it was like a system.

"What the hell is this, am i dreaming?"

Zed wondered and tried to touch the sceen like thing in front of him, he can't touch the screen system, but he can still see it.

There was some menus written on it.

"What is this, a mail, stats and Inventory"

After Ren said Inventory the system changed in appearance, and looked like a game inventory, it didn't disappeared but it changed.

"What the hell, it changed, wait does it use voice and not touch"

Ren was surprised at first and tried to think more voice commands, when suddenly her sister came in with a doctor.

Ren quickly layed down again.

After the doctor checked the condition of Ren and said all the necessary things, the doctor left the room.

"Hey bro, why did you suddenly jumped back to lay down"

"Nothing, well i have a question."

Ren said while looking up, to the system screen.

"Can you see that?"

Ren asked Ayaka, while pointing up to the ceiling where the screen where at.

"Where?, where are you even pointing at?"

Ayaka asked while trying to find the thing that Ren is pointing.

(Does that mean i can only see it?)

While Ren thought about the system screen he said.

"No nothing"

After they conversed for a while, her sister ledt to go home, and get some clothes for Ren.

After Ren checked that his sister already left the hospital, he experimented with the screen.

"Lets see, its still at the Inventory menu, hkw to close?"

While he muttered to himself, he got an idea.

"Close Inventory"

Ren Said and the System closed, and back at the original menu from before.

"Mail"

After he said Mail, the system screen changed again and its now a message like menu.

(Why did it worked this time?, does that mean i can just think about it)

After Ren got an idea on how it worked, he quickly headed back to his bed.

After Ren thought about this, the message opened, it revealed a message saying...

The system asked to Ren, he wondered why is it there, is he going crazy from the accident that occurred, or is it a blessing.
