Saving Sleepyhead

Kore's initial reaction was that he had received a new quest and needed to complete it in order to receive a reward. During the last 10 years, Kore checked his system every day. He never got a new quest or something like that, so he was glad he did now. After all, the king looks pretty old and might pass away naturally before Kore even gets the chance to kick his ass. As long as he made progress, and after reading the specifications of the quest, he knew he had to do it. It was only a C rank, but he didn't have any help this time. Or at least, it might be bad to ask Zyn for help, as it might only stress the sleepy guy more and make him die even faster.

Anyway, thinking about it for too long was even worse than asking for help, so he rushed out of the room and silently followed the sleepy person. He just went down the stairs of their dorm as Kore noticed how unnaturally he leaned to the front. He was just about to drop down the stairs as Kore quickly grabbed him and stopped him. "Be careful." Kore said. "You nearly dropped." The person then also spoke for the first time, "Thanks," and he went down the stairs with no trouble.

Enjoying his accomplishment. Kore just looked at the screen in front of him, waiting for his reward.

"Come on," he thought. ´Why don´t I get my reward? Wait. Does that mean the quest isn't finished yet?'

"Hey! Sleepyhead! " Kore shouted at the sleepy person who just wanted to walk outside of the dorms "You really don´t look good. "You should go to sleep now. " The sleepy person just blankly stared at him and let out a sigh, "That isn´t possible right now." I need to go somewhere. " "Then let me come with you!" Kore insisted. Sleepyhead let out another sigh and said, "Fine, I guess."

With that, Kore followed him without the need to hide. Kore didn´t have any conversations with Sleepyhead because it looked like he had forgotten Kore was even there. Sleepyhead went around everywhere. Often, he just went into a room inside of the academy and just stared at it blankly. He would then turn around as he forgot what he wanted to do there and go around aimlessly again. ´Forgetting what you wanted to do in a room happens to everyone at some point, but... 'Kore thought following Sleepyhead ' TWELVE TIMES IN A ROW?!' Sleepyhead just went into another room and turned around again. ´If he is always like this, I wonder how he survived until now´ Kore continued his thought.

They soon ended up going in a circle all around the school. When Sleepyhead suddenly turned around and tilted his head as he looked at Kore. "Why are you following me again?" He said, "And who are you again?" Kore just looked stunned at the question of Sleepyhead and answered casually as he sighed. "The name is Kore an-" Kore spoke as he was interrupted by a guy that had just appeared from inside the academy. "Hey! I hope you have what I asked you for, Shithead! " The person who interrupted Kore was a red-haired delinquent as well as a red-eyed delinquent. At least, that's what his entire appearance tells us about him.

"Oh, Turb. I looked for you." Sleepyhead answered as he bowed down. "Sorry but it seems like I forgot to pack i-"

Again, the delinquent, who seemed to go by the name Turb, interrupted. He kicked Sleepyhead in the face with his knee. "What do you mean, you forgot?" Turb screamed at him, pulling Sleepyhead's hair and holding a flame in his other hand. "That´s no good. You can´t just break a promise with a friend. " Turb seemed like he was about to cry, but everyone who slept at least one hour in the last week would know that it was all fake. The problem was, Sleepyhead didn't get his nickname for nothing.

"I'm sorry," Sleepyhead just said.

As Turb just wanted to punch Sleepyhead with a fist encased in flames, Kore grabbed his arm just where the fire didn't touch him.

Kore actually trained his body for the last 10 years, so his stats would look like this. You could say that these are the stats of a healthy adult. His last stat, senses, was a bit different as it is something that is weak for most people. Like its name says, it increases your senses, but also noticing if someone is looking at you or something like that counts as senses. Even though it needed an upgrade to balance the stats out a bit, there would be no need here. Because of that, Kore decided he would go with the idea of putting two points in agility and one in strength, making both of them 10. When he did that, he quickly felt that his body had changed a bit and that he had now become stronger.

"Huhh?" Turb said, who looked annoyed at Kore, "And who are you again, Shithead?"

"Just a normal thinking person," Kore responded with a cold look on his face, "Not like you."

Kore quickly punched Turb in the face, which let his nose bleed a bit. "THAT HURT, DAMMIT!" Turb shouted as he encased his whole body in flames as armor and weapon. He tried attacking Kore, but he was able to dodge two of the attacks. The third one landed directly in his stomach, sending him flying as he landed on his back and couldn't stand up.

´Are you sure this is a C-rank quest?' Kore thought. ´Am I really this weak?´

When Kore saw these messages, he knew it was already too late for that because Turb already stood above him and was about to land the finishing blow.

´Ahh, this is so tiring´ Sleepyhead thought as he put his hand in front of him and his palm facing Turb.
