"General! My subordinate reported that the Emperor of Rayden is here on the battlefield!" Bai Lin yelled as he panted from all the running he did.

"What?!" Song Yun shouted in surprise.

Bai Lin nodded to confirm what he just said.

Song Yun's face turned red with anger.

"That stupid imbecile! Where is he at?" Song Yun shouted.

"At the frontlines," Bai Lin said timidly as he saw how angry Song Yun was getting.

"Fuck!"

"Prepare my horse. I'm heading out to the frontlines."

"Yes, General." Bai Lin replied.

After a few minutes, Bai Lin got Song Yun's horse ready.

Song Yun got on his horse and urged his horse Gracey to go faster. He rushed past all the dead bodies and finally made it to the frontlines.

He instantly found the Emperor of Rayden fighting off one of his soldiers. He stabbed the soldier and he fell off his horse. The Emperor of Rayden met eyes with Song Yun.

"Hey Yun!" The Emperor of Rayden shouted with a crazy grin.

"What the hell are you doing here Thaddeus?! Are you fucking crazy?! Your mother is going to kill me! Plus, where is your helmet!" Song Yun shouted.

Thaddeus grinned sheepishly.

"I lost it?"

Song Yun sighed.

"Let's call an end to this battle, Thaddeus. I want to go home."

"Sure."

After calling the end of the battle, Thaddeus came over to Song Yun's side to drink some tea.

Since the three Empires would call a truce for a few months every year, it allowed trade to happen which includes traveling.

Several years ago, Song Yun encountered Thaddeus during one of his travels to the Rayden Empire. Ever since then, they have been best friends even though they are technically enemies.

"So when are you going to consider my offer?" Thaddeus questioned.

"Never, not going to happen, Thaddeus."

"Awww, but I want to be your wifey, Song Yun. You are so handsome and cool. You look so sexy during battle covered in your enemy's blood." Thaddeus said dreamily.

Song Yun knocked his friend's head.

"Stop it. You know I have a fiancée at home waiting for me for this past year we have been at war."

Thaddeus pouted.

"I know, I'm willing to become your concubine. I'll let Hao Yu be the main wife even though Hao Yu seems suspicious. You shouldn't trust him so easily."

Song Yun looked at Thaddeus seriously.

"I know, but you have to give him the benefit of the doubt."

"If you say so, Yun."

"Plus, how will you become my concubine if you're the Emperor of Rayden and I'm the General of the Zen Empire hmm?"

"We'll make it work, I promise!" He said as he grabbed Song Yun's hands.

"The answer is still no."

"Aww man, guess I'll ask you next time then Yun!"
