As the awakned looked towards the dungeon boss . The boss stood up as sent a howl that send shivers down all the awakned's spine .the healer started to chant buffs.

" FEAR RESISTANCE "

" HIGHER STRENGTH"

" HIGHER AGILITY "

A fear resistance buff that also boosted their movement speed as many more buffs were cast that improved there strength and resistance.

after casting so many buffs the healer breathed roughly as sweat tikled down his forehead. He went to the side to rest and recover his mana.

Ezekiel felt his strength increased as he was now confident enough that he would be able to survive the boss room without many injuries.

Soon the fight began and the tanks tanked all the attacks that could not be dodged by the melee warriors as they dashed and swung their swords and hammers towards the huge body of the boss .

As few hits were evaded by the the wolf .soon the boss monster howled as it launched an attack towards a melee warriors that was attacking him at this movement.

As he was barely able to escape. as the fight continued the boss monster kept accumulating more and more wounds as Ezekiel's Ice blade left many wounds onto the boss monster that dealt frost damage.

The boss was almost dead as all the melee warriors kept attacking and after few minutes the boss finally fell as the bosss was quite strong .

Ezekiel took a sigh of relief as he was bathed in sweat and was very tired .

" So this was an peak Rank F beast . This boss was quite strong."

After resting for a while As he recovered his mana .The team leader came towards him .

" Good job on your first raid you have got some good sword moves Rookie."

While smiling Bryan patted Ezekiel's shoulder.

After existing the dungeon Ezekiel took his share of crystals as he went home . After reaching home Ezekiel looked towards his face in the mirror as he took a shower .

Afterwards he went to his bedroom and then opened his stat pannel .

As he looked towards his stat pannel he felt happy. Ezekiel started to think about many things as suddenly he heard a knock on his door.

Ezekiel stood up as he went to open the door .the person that was standing infront of him was Bryan .

" What's up Rookie !"

Ezekiel looked Bryan as he was not expecting him to come to his house .

" You might be thinking why I am here."

" I had something important to talk to you regarding today's raid ."

Ezekiel nooded as he let him enter his house.

" Okay sure come in ."

As they both went inside as Ezekiel brought some canned beer .

" So firstly you have great skill and I would like to join my team for the upcoming dungeon clearing event "

Ezekiel looked towards him while sipping on some beer .

" A dungeon clearing event ?"

Bryan looked at him as he said

" Yes , an event in which various team under top three guilds supervision come to hunt mosters the objective of the raid Is to kill as many monsters.the team who is wins the event will have a chance of getting three skill books and 30 Rank D crystals ."

Ezekiel thought for a while as he said

"Sure I would be glad to take you on this offer but how will the skill books be distributed among the teams ."

Bryan was happy to hear that his proposal was accepted as he explained

" The member who kills the most monsters in the team will earn a skill book including a pouch of rank D cores."

"So it would be in next three days or so be ready "

Ezekiel looked towards Bryan as he nooded

" And before you think how I got your home address. I got it from the Awakned association see you on the day."

After the talk Bryan went out. Ezekiel started to wonder about what level of monster would be in the dungeon and how strong will the other awakned be .

" I must start my preperations soon only the ice blade won't be enough if so many teams are participating. I should start improving my strength."

As after having dinner he thought about meeting his mother .as he slept for the night .

Next day Ezekiel woke up as he took a shower and went to meet his mon soon after he went to a dungeon that was ranked E this time he would go alone .

The dungeon was named [ lizards den ] as Ezekiel wanted to improve his strength fast so he could get a skill book from the upcoming event.

He went to the dungeon location as a portal 5 metres tall with waves of mana coming around it he entered the portal soon he arrived in Rocky terrain where there were many lizardsmen .

Walking on two legs with green skin and sharp claws Ezekiel looked towards this as he hid so as not to be seen .

" Theses are definitely stronger than Rank F boss ."

The auras that the lizardmen had was quite suffocating for any normal human soon after Ezekiel raised his hand

"Summon undead "

As a red runic circle flooted in the air as it slowly moved towards the ground from which undead goblins came out as if coming out of a lava lake .

Ezekiel looked towards these undead happily as he ordered them to set an ambush for the three lizard men .

As one of the undead went as he took the aggro of two lizardmen as he ran towards the rocks . While the two undead hide themselves in the rocks .

As soon he reached close to a rock two goblins came out as they attacked the two lizardmen with all they had soon the attacks hit as one of the lizard men got hit on head and the other one on the back .

" Cheeckkkk!?"

" Cheeckkkk!?"

The two lizardmen were shocked to get hit by a weak undead as they soon got their rage in check. they launched there claws towards the goblins as the bodies of these goblins were half destroyed witha single attack.

Ezekiel looked towards this seen as he knew that his goblins alone were not strong enough to deafeat these lizardmen who were quite strong .

As he moved towards these lizardmen while also trying to buy enough time for his undead to recover .

" Grab there attention and run towards direction away from the injuried undead ."

After giving this command to the remaining undead that was not incapacitated Ezekiel moved as he ran and took a leap utilising his mana to sharpen the blade as he swung his Ice blade.

Which hit the lizardmen but unlike what Ezekiel expected the blade only made a small dent in its Armor.

Ezekiel expression changed as he quickly moved back but the lizardmens tale hit him at his stomach .

He was slightly injuried as he looked at the lizardmen he then moved his sword while rolling to the right as he was able to reach behind the lizardmen he then thrusted his sword .

The lizardmen was quite attentive of the situation as it effectively doged and tried to counterattack .

The time moved slowly as he tried to move back while the lizardmen opened it's jaws wide .
