Ikarys tried to raise his head to see who was speaking when he heard that voice.
"Don't move." The voice rang out again: "Any unusual action from you will put both you and me in danger."
Hearing this, Ikarys stopped and sat still, not daring to move.
"If you agree, move your index finger; if you disagree, move your thumb, okay?"
Hearing that voice, Ikarys moved his thumb slightly. In the pitch-black cell, it was almost impossible for anyone to see his movement.
Even if someone saw it, they wouldn't care about small movements like this.
"Will you take revenge on Lathel?"
Ikarys' thumb moved again, then the thumb dug into his palm so tightly, so hard, that fresh blood began to flow out.
That much was enough to know how much Ikarys hated Lathel.
"Very good!" That strange voice rang out again: "I will save you; I hope you don't let me down."
Before Ikarys could do anything, his eyes and mind fell into darkness.
