CHAPTER 54: ARE WE FRIENDS?

Myro was currently sitting and absorbing the mana crystal he had in his hand. It's been 5 days since they made a magic contract for the match. Myro was currently still at the junior mage level 1 but the strength he had was already much stronger than before.

Myro stopped absorbing the low grade mana crystal in his hand because the mana crystal had run out. Myro immediately threw it away then stood up and started walking away from the room while saying a little angry "It's too tiring to continue training. Why did they return to their village when at the Plant Magic Academy a student had to stay in the academy? Because it's vacation time before the big game. In a month's time, the entire magic academy will have a joint annual activity, namely a match between new students.

Shar hesitated a bit then he started to look around, but soon Shar said again "Altria is not around at the moment. So I will tell young master to act more carefully from now on".

Hearing that, Myro became more and more confused so Myro said again "Is Altria going to kill me?".

Shar shook his head and said again "You can rest assured of Altria's loyalty. Altria's loyalty to the young master is no lower than mine. However, that Altria often acts recklessly".

"Acting recklessly? You mean?", Myro asked again.

After that, Shar's figure immediately disappeared again.

Seeing Shar who disappeared quickly, Myro immediately thought in his mind "Is Altria going to kill other people just because they made fun of me? It can't be right?".

Myro stopped thinking about it. After all, he had to rest today from training. This is not the time to dwell on the matter.

In the living room, there was no one. It seems that Jale's magician is busy with his research again, therefore Myro immediately left the house and rushed to the noble's territory. After all, it's only in the nobility's territory at the Magical Herb Academy that sells things like food and stuff.

Myro smiled and said "Only a fool doesn't know. Your name is Vine Conti. Your surname is Conti. How many Conti surnames are there besides the Iron Bear Royal family. Everyone is afraid to use that surname because if they use it it means they are like making fun of you, right?"

Vine immediately started eating again while listening to Myro. Then he nodded and said "Then I was also at the Magic Plant Academy while the other students were on vacation so the chances of me being your opponent in the match in the next few days are high".

Myro nodded and took the drink that was on his table and drank slowly. After drinking, Myro started to say "Vine, are we friends?".

"Myro it all depends on profit and loss", said Vine still eating and not looking at Myro. Then Vine said again "It's like that in the noble world. I don't see the advantages you will give if we continue to be friends. However, I can already see the disadvantages if we stay friends. If we stay friends then I might have to fight all the nobles, so why bother to remain friends with a commoner like you? No matter how talented a person is, without sufficient resources they will only continue to be weak".

"Then you and Brigitte just for profit?", said Myro.

Vine nodded and said "Yes, because there is an advantage".

"Then I'll beat you badly in the match in a few days", Myro said.

"Only with a weak strength like you", said Vine mockingly then said again "That won't be possible. Realize your ability first".

After that, Vine stood up and left the dining area. Myro just remained seated and looked in the direction Vine had gone.
