CHAPTER 15: THE WRONG WOLF HORDS

Myro looked beside him and saw several other wind wolves emerging through the bushes. The wind wolves glared at Myro fiercely and approached Myro slowly preparing to pounce on him. Myro saw the wolves around so he could tell that he had to face 5 wind wolves on his first hunt. Although a wind wolf was injured by Myro, the injured wind wolf had a very troublesome wind blade ability.

"Fireball", Myro shouted, then a fireball he prepared earlier appeared beside him and was flung towards the wind wolf that was injured earlier. The injured wind wolf was stunned by Myro's sudden attack, then before he could dodge he was instantly blown away by the explosion. As he was still blown through the air, Myro's shadow appeared from the smoke where the fireball exploded and instantly decapitated the wind wolf. After killing the wind wolf that had the wind blade ability Myro didn't stop at all and ran away straight away.

The wind wolves surrounding Myro earlier were instantly stunned and tried to chase after Myro. But when they saw Myro pass through the flames where the fireball magic was burning, the wolves paused for a moment as they hesitated to pass through the flames. They waited for the fire to stop for a moment and tried to catch up to Myro again after the fire stopped. The wind wolves ignored their slain wind wolf companions and continued to chase Myro.

Myro was currently hiding in a fairly large tree and immediately climbed it up. After climbing the tree, Myro immediately sat on a tree branch strong enough to support his body and immediately sat down. Myro used a small healing magic to reduce his injuries and was always looking down and observing the wind wolves' movements. Myro's current mana was very limited. Due to the battle with the wind wolf earlier as well as the minor healing magic he was currently using had consumed most of Myro's mana.

Myro immediately sat down and tried to concentrate on recovering his current mana and thinking of a strategy to defeat the remaining wind wolves. After a while, Myro felt a strong shaking on the tree he was sitting on now. Myro immediately opened his eyes and saw the wind wolves trying to uproot the tree that Myro was sitting on. The tree Myro was sitting on was indeed quite large but the wind wolves were strong enough monsters that within a few hits of them, Myro was sure this tree would fall.

Myro immediately cast his magic spell "Fireball".

The mana in Myro's body immediately concentrated. But strangely, Myro could feel the mana movement became smoother and faster. Suddenly a fireball appeared beside Myro, but to Myro's surprise, another fireball appeared beside him. Myro immediately said happily "It seems true to say that with actual combat one can hone their skills. Just now I can use 2 fireballs with one spell".

Myro didn't like to linger and immediately threw the 2 fireballs at a wind wolf. Myro decided to use 2 fireballs to attack only one wolf. Since the wind wolves could move very quickly so they should be able to dodge a fireball easily. As for the wind wolf that Myro killed earlier. The wind wolf could be hit by just a fireball because the wolf wasn't prepared for Myro's hidden attack. So naturally the wind wolf was hit by a fireball without being able to dodge.

It was true as Myro guessed, the wind wolf was able to dodge Myro's first fireball. But as he dodged to the side, the wind wolf was startled by another fireball that was approaching him. Without having time to dodge, the wolf was immediately hit by the blast of this fireball and was thrown quite far. Myro saw that and immediately realized that his fireball also seemed to be much stronger than before. Because the wind wolf that Myro fought earlier when hit by the fireball wasn't blown away by the explosion as far as the wolf that was thrown now.

Myro didn't waste much time and took out 2 more fireballs and threw them straight away. Coinciding with Myro throwing fireballs, Myro immediately jumped down from the tree because the tree that Myro was sitting on was finally uprooted by the wind wolves.

The 2 fireballs that Myro threw earlier immediately hit another wind wolf and knocked the wind wolf down.

The remaining 2 wind wolves immediately approached Myro in a hurry so as not to give Myro a chance to cast the fireball magic spell again.

Seeing the 2 wolves approaching, Myro didn't fight them. Myro immediately ran again and jumped into one of the other trees and climbed up quickly. Myro now feels lucky that in the previous village he was often invited to play by the children in the village to climb trees. So that Myro can now climb trees skillfully.

Seeing Myro climbing the tree again. The remaining 2 wind wolves felt hopeless. After all, they didn't have the ability of the blades of wind to easily uproot trees. They couldn't climb the tree either, so how could they beat Myro if he kept climbing the tree and shooting them with fireball magic from up there.

The remaining 2 wind wolves looked at each other and they could see understanding in their respective comrades' eyes. The wind wolves could only sadly howl a little for their wind wolf companion who had died earlier. Then before Myro started shooting fireball magic again, the two wind wolves immediately turned around and fled very quickly.

Seeing the wind wolves fleeing quickly, Myro felt surprised. Myro immediately thought maybe this was a wind wolf trap. Maybe the wind wolves pretended to run away, then after Myro came down from the tree they would secretly attack Myro. Therefore, Myro sat first on the tree and healed the wound on his back with a small healing magic. After his wound was healed, Myro immediately recovered his mana that was nearly depleted from the previous battle with the wind wolves.

After his wound healed and his mana recovered. Myro looked around through the tree and knew that the wind wolves from before had really run away. Myro immediately descended from the tree and walked carefully and began to look at the corpse of the wind wolf he had killed. To find out if the wind wolf contained a monster core. However, none of the wind wolves had monster cores, after sighing Myro started to check the corpse of the last wind wolf which was the wind wolf that had the wind blade ability that Myro killed in the beginning.

Myro immediately found a shiny orb from the wind wolf's corpse. Myro immediately took it out and looked at it. The ball glows and gives a feeling of coolness when touched. Myro immediately observed it for a moment and knew that this was the core of the wind elemental monster. After a little look Myro immediately put it away then stood up and started walking back towards the place where Myro usually rested during this test.

Myro immediately said as he walked "Fortunately there is still a monster core, even though it's a wind elemental monster core that doesn't match my element".
