Chapter Fourteen - Dungeon Break/Dive (Prt 1)

Rochelle jumped down from her bed which made her skirt defy gravity. She immediately covered herself up by grabbing unto the hem of her skirt.

I turned my head a full 180 to pretend I didn't see anything as she looked up in embarrassment.

'Gong! Gong! Gong!'

A sound resonated from beyond our wall, it was like the sound often heard in martial arts movies when a found was about to start.

The sound continued without end and Ellen grabbed the rapier she had on her hip in her grasp and looked out the window along side Rochelle in which I followed suit.

The streets were littered with adventurers running towards to guild hall and before long the adventurers in our inn also got rowdy. The town folks on the streets below were screaming and running into the homes closing their windows and doors.

Ellen jumped through the window along with Rochelle without even saying a word.

I was confused and astonished at how they jumped safely from the fifth floor.

I was soon snapped from my daze when I saw the shy Sheena followed behind our the monster dou.

I unwillingly plunged myself towards the window but failed to go along with my endeavor.

I gulped looking at the distance down from the window to the road and decided Against it.

'Tadano you're not like them, all three of them are monsters.'

I shyly pulled the bedroom.

"Watch out brat!"

"Get out the way!"

"Adventurer coming true!"

I was met was a long bustling line of rugged adventurers.

…Rochelle's P.O.V

"Where's Sai?"

Ellen asked as she looked back at her entourage.

"I don't know but his monster pet is here." I pointed behind me at the goblin hidden under a cloak she held the staff using both hands while looking behind her in a state of longing.

"Don't worry, he'll be here soon." I looked at Sheena as she drew her hood over her head in an attempt to hide her facial expression, I stood there wondering why I just reaffirmed her seeing as she's a monster.

Ellen dashed up the stairs to the adventurers guild.

"Dear thank you all for gathering here at our sudden request!"

We were met with an enormous crowd of hundreds of adventurers.

A short stump lady stood atop a podium in the center of the guild hall with a loud speaker.

"The dungeon on the northern end of the city has underwent a fissure and the monsters have escaped!… we are asking for all able bodied adventurers to help defend the city, i know you all have family some who arent even in this city so the only inventive i have to offer would be monetary!"

She then lowered her head and held both her hands to her side, it was easy to see she was trying to be as sincere as possible.

"I ask of you please, help save the city and defend our homes!"

Many of the adventurers present were influenced by her sincerity and one my one the swords men drew their swords, the archers took their bows in arms and the lances were held high the entire guild was then shook with a loud roar.

The adventurers all yelled their hearts out.

"Lets goooooooo whooooaaa!" Ellen held her weapon high she then grabbed my armed and pulled me into her cheer.

"On the 40th floor of a certain dungeon

"Whoa Sachi that sword of yours is amazing it slices through the toughest of monsters who ease, we are basically playing on easy mode at this point." Satsuki exclaimed as he held a book within arms length of his chest, his body then became cloaked in a deep crimson hue the pages of the book began to flip on its own.

"Draconic Eden!" every thing within a 10M radius became bathe in a deep orange and crimson coloration the ground became cracked and magma began to erupt from each hole which kept growing until ten black pillars appeared encircling the trio.

"With this our physical and magical attributes will be enhanced tenfold and our regenerative capabilities will increase fivefold but our defenses will become paper thin."

"I guess its my turn." Mizuki planted his great shield in the ground and it stood on its own.

"Stead fast Aura!"His muddy copper aura started raging around his body as he stood ahead of his other two companions.

"Call of the Mountain God!" A translucent entity appeared behind Mizuki that towered over him like a giant.

The giant removed his gourd from its hip and fell to its butt, it proceeded to gulp down the contents of the gourd the hit the gourd on the ground with created a bellowing roar like the thunders in a raging storm.

Two green beads emerged in the dark beyond the boundaries of Satsuki's skill from earlier.

A roar echoed in the enclosed room and a light ignited from the rare that caused a chain reaction and multiple other lamps ignited one after the other revealing a 15 foot monster wielding an enormous battle axe. It stood on two goat legs that were as thick as tree trunks. Its upper body was void of fur and had a humane look except it was massive akin to that of a titan and as muscular as the worlds most ripped body builder.

The bell around its neck shook as it moved and it puffed a chilling from its cow nose.

"Whooooooa its a minotaur!" Mizuki shouted at the top of his voice.

"It really does have a cow's head and feet huh, even a tail." Sachi made the obvious noted but it was acceptable seeing as its the trio's first time encountering such a beast of fictional origin.
