The Strongest Thief

What could be worse than death? The answer was the loneliness of never being able to die. Of billions upon billions upon billions of creatures across worlds and realities, no matter how powerful they were they would always be consumed by that feeling. It was the true terror that would devour any living entities until their mind shattered and turn to void. What happened if there was a creature, a person, a human who could overcome the fear of nothingness? In the world of Loriana, the world of magic, the world of endless battles between heroes and demon lords. The young boy Torei summoned with his group of friends and his unrequited love. Like any Isekai transmigrators, they were given powers and fame. Well, except for Torei his class was a thief, a lowly infamous class only for thugs, and criminals. What could Torei do in this cruel world filled with endless hatred, suffering as a thief? Cough cough I stare at myself in the mirror for a long time after writing this synopsis. I think I'm serious this time about WSA contest I'm not a native English speaker so expect some grammar errors in my novels I will try to improve with time. If this goes well I'm gonna update a more thoughtfully editing version later. Q&A: Will this has harem? (a small and complicated harem I would say, cause at least one of them was just playing with the MC, even if there's a harem MC gonna choose only 1 love interest, there'll be no harem ending) Will this have NTR? (No) Is the cover yours? (No, I'm just borrowing it please don't kill me) Final word I'm a newbie writer so please be easy on me.

Abyss crawling part 15: The city of darkness.

" Who are you?"

Morla chuckled at the nervous Ilirielth.

" I'm just an old woman name Morla. Don't worry child, I'm not on her side. Not anymore. If you're a well-behaved kid, this old bone never lay a hand on you. Right, Sally? Am I a good grandma?"

" Yes! My grandma is the best! If you're good she'll give you candy!"

The little girl Sally cheerfully said while jumping into Morla's lap while the old woman caressed her hair. That was a warming scene but Ilirielth couldn't help but feel something was off.

" What do you mean well-behaved? And I'm not a kid. I… please I need to get out of here."

" You're a kid to me, little girl. It seemed that you still don't understand your situation. You'll never get out of this place. This's your new home, you'll live here for the rest of your life. About the friend of yours, that guy's probably dead by now."

" Lie, that can't be… he's still alive."

Hearing that, Morla smiled, and gave Ilirielth an amusing look.

" You care more about the monster friend of yours even than yourself? Hahahaha, amazing! How amazing this is! Well, how about you tell me a little about you and your friend, maybe this old bone can help."

Ilirielth didn't have an ounce of trust in the old woman in front of her, especially after Morla mentioned Lilith. But it would be bad to displease Morla in her current situation.

' Haste makes waste.'

She muttered to herself. She needed to gather more information about this place before deciding to do anything.

Somewhere on a bed in an office room, a man and a woman's bodies entwined together, sweet sounds of pleasure softly spread through the place.

" You can be louder if you want, there's no one else here but us."

" N-No Redmond sama, I can't."

" Call me by my name, you promised to call me that when we're alone Sicat."

Sicat blushed, and let out a light moan as Redmond's hand caress her flawless body.

" R-Ren."

" That's more like it."

They did it for a while until the moaning of Sicat became the sound of pain. Her belly became abnormally bigger and bigger until it looked like she was being pregnant.

" It seemed like we need to stop here."

Redmond put Sicat away, he took out a pair of white gloves inside of the drawers along with a knife then walked to Sicat who was still naked on the deck. Looking at her belly which became too big even for a normal pregnant woman, Redmond frowned and use the knife to slit off her belly. Sicat bit her lips, sweat streamed on her body as if she was taking a bath and her blood dyed the office deck red. A thing was taken out of her body, and let out an ear-piercing scream. It had multiple arms and legs and heads, the faces of it were twisted in agony when Redmond slashed off the cord and threw it onto the ground. The creature was squirming on the floor, then stepped on by a giant foot.

" I'm sorry Sicat, I was a little overboard this time."

" No Ren, it's been so long since we have some time together. Don't worry about me"

Sicat said weakly as her body exhausted. Her eyes lay on the creature under Redmond's foot, wanting to say something but before words escape her mouth, Redmond stomped on the creature making it become a pile of meat.

" Let me take a look at your status."

" Yes…"

The wound on Sicat's belly healed with an astounding speed. She still looked very tired.

" Everything seems fine but since the abomination took too much energy from your body, you should feel very tired. Take a rest for the next day."

" But I have to organize a team to search for the Ilapium mine."

" Cancel it, I'll report to the upper for you. All you need to do is rest."

Redmond hugged Sicat with his big arm and gave her a light kiss on her forehead.

" Why don't you take this opportunity to spend some time with her? It had been years since she last saw you. Don't you afraid that she would eventually forget about you?" - Redmond said jokingly.

Sicat's expression became bright and she hugged him back. "Thank you," she said. At that moment a phone bell rang. Redmond picked it up and his expression became serious.

" I'll be there."

" What's wrong?"

" That bastard Raziel, he's investigating our lab."

" Ren… the subject…"

" Don't worry, I already prepared for cases like this. Just rest."

Dark, Engulfed in almost complete darkness was one of the traits of this city. It's not because people didn't know how to invent light but because there was no longer a need for it, there were only a few places in the city that still needed light. Millions of red eyes glowed in the darkness as an obsidian vehicle sprinted through the road heading toward one of the shining structures. The vehicle came to a halt and a voice resounded from the back seat.

" What's it?"

Redmond asked his newly hired driver who flinched when he heard the dissatisfied voice from behind.

" L-Lord Redmond, a-an accident ahead of us. There's a crowd of citizens blocking the road."

Redmond didn't say anything, just silently look at his system clock.

" 3 seconds was of mine was wasted because of that nonsense, 4 now. You should have known what happened to the one who wasted my time."

" B-But?"

" But what? If those things were so weak that they die from being hit by this then they shouldn't be born."

The driver gulped. His hands were trembling when he looked at the people ahead of him. A person turned their head at the vehicle and became terrified when he realized whose vehicle that was. The guy shouted at the crowd but it was too late. The vehicle had the size of a tank sprinted over the group of twenties people. The engine of it was so fast and strong so all that was heard was just a single flat sound and then there was a long red trail on the road.

The vehicle stopped before a giant white tower. That was surrounded by an army of soldiers. Redmond walked out of the vehicle, he threw the corpse of the driver to one side of the road and brushed off the flesh on his hand. His metal snail-like eye zoomed inside the tower, on the 5th floor something was burning. In a blink, his figure disappeared.

There were three figures still standing inside the burning room, a giant man whose head almost touched the 9m ceiling and two soldiers wearing dark red battle suits.

" Lord Redmond, you finally came. Congrats on finding a new template."

" What's the meaning of this Raziel?"

The giant smiled and shrugged his shoulders.

" I'm just following what you did Lord Redmond. Help you cleanse bad products to save our resources."

" There was no bad product in this place. "

" Are you sure about that? Just look at these things. I don't know what to call them other than trash. Die from a spark of flame."

The giant flicked his finger and a flame sparkled in the air. In front of them were thousands of green tubes, inside of them were creatures that looked akin to humans. All of them were being deformed by the intense heat of flames. Some were already burnt to crisp.

" You fool! Those were precious resources approved by the great lord himself!"

" Oh I didn't know that, can you call the great lord for me? I'll gladly accept any punishment if that was true."

A bang resounded as the giant body flew across the lab. The punch was so strong that its after-effect extinguished the scorching flames. Two elite guards of Raziel were about to draw their weapons but the laugh from the giant stopped them.

" Your strength hasn't reduced one bit, brother. If only your mind was not blinded by ghosts of the past."

" We had an agreement Raziel. What I do in my territory is none of your business!" - Redmond said angrily

" Hahaha. I don't remember we had such an agreement. Let me get this straight Redmond. You have it don't you, the prize from the Great One?"

The slight hint of surprise in Redmond's eyes couldn't escape the Raziel.

" Heh, I'll give you one chance brother. Bring the subject to me in a week, or next time not just me. The other will also join into this little war you try to start."

Saying that Raziel leisurely stood up brushed off the dirt in his armor and left the room with his soldiers. After his figure was gone Redmond grit his teeth. He took out his cell phone and called someone.

" Contact Sicat, also prepare everything. We'll terminate the subject tonight."
