Cause it's a place where vile deeds are committed.

"Cause it's a place where vile deeds are committed." Alistar continued, slowly spreading his aura to their environment.

"Huh..." As Alistar's words entered his ears, the figure was about to leap back in fright after sensing Alistar was leagues above his current power level.

"Where do you think you're going?" Still smiling, Alistar held onto the person's hood.

"Hand over the baby and I'll let you go." Roughly pulling the person toward him, Alistar spoke calmly.

'Damn it. Just when I thought I could stop using my life essence.' The person thought, trying his best not to get suffocated by Alistar's deadly aura.

Staring at Alistar for some time the person made up his mind to bring Alistar down even if he would end up dead.

Shhhhrrrrreeeeddd...

The person jumped away from Alistar, not bothered by his hood getting torn.

"To hell with it!! And damn that blasted Queen!!" The person roared, revealing his figure to Alistar.

The person had long gray hair, blood-red irises that were complimented by pitch-black scleras, a curved pitch-black horn on the left side of his head, light gray skin that was littered with cracks, and strange-looking tattoos that constantly moved all over his body. The person in front of Alistar just so happened to be Theo, the one who had killed Arwan.

"So you aren't only a member of the Church of Malum but also a member of Bemus," Alistar said after seeing Theo's current form, looking at Theo some more he continued. "Are you aware that you could be exchanged for a handsome reward if I decided to turn you in?"

"But I'm not interested in any of that." Seeing that Theo looked ready to fight to his death, Alistar continued with cruelty evident in his tone. "I gave you a chance to hand over the baby but you choose not to. So you'll have to pay the price."

Alistar's voice echoed as his aura flared akin to a Sun going supernova.

Boom!!

With Alistar's figure appearing in front of Theo, Alistar delivered a chop to Theo's shoulder.

"Argh," Theo winced as he tried his best to remain conscious.

Theo swayed as he gradually lost feeling in his body. It was a miracle Theo was even able to endure Alistar's attack as the trees behind Theo had all been destroyed. Even the forest floor wasn't spared as there was a crater that stretched beyond the horizon.

'Crap I'm losing consciousness!' Theo said to himself as his body got closer to the ground.

'I refuse to go down like this. The bastard might still end up killing me.' Theo thought, biting his tongue to keep himself awake.

"Huff..." As the pain shot through his body, Theo gasped before trying to distance himself from Alistar.

"Your will is admirable." Applauding Theo in his heart, Alistar finally acknowledged Theo's existence after the latter had survived 25% of his strength.

Skiiiiidddddddd...

"You want the baby right? Why don't you get him." Theo's feet slid across the ground as he spoke with a smirk on his demonic face.

With his long hair fluttering in the wind, Theo pulled out a big blue capsule from what remained of his hood.

Theo held the capsule in his hands before muttering words in a tone that sounded like two rusted gears moving over each other.

"Here you go," Theo said, smiling maliciously from ear to ear as he tossed the capsule upwards.

Having the capsule shatter into fine dust, the figure of a baby could be seen trapped inside a Water Barrier.

It all took about a second for Theo to do all that and he was left breathing like a fish out of water but he had underestimated his opponent.

"Thanks for saving me the trouble of going easy on you," Alistar said, disappearing from where he stood akin to a phantom.

Appearing in front of Theo with his fist brought backward, every ounce of Alistar's being radiated immense strength.

Booooooooommmmmmmmmmm!!!

Unhesitatingly launching his fist forward, Alistar's punch made Theo curve up akin to a ball.

"Cough..." Theo coughed out blood after having oxygen knocked out of his lungs and his spine damaged.

Boooooommmmmmmm!!!

Shooting from Alistar's fist akin to a cannonball, Theo's figure widened the crater that Alistar had previously created with what looked like a burning outline around him.

With Theo's figure moving beyond Alistar's line of sight in less than a second, Alistar raised his left hand to the sky after enjoying the open view for a second.

As Alistar had expected, Adrian fell into his palm with his right hand continuously emitting smoke.

"This must've been why he is still alive despite getting starved of milk," Alistar said, looking at the Water Barrier around Adrian.

Alistar noticed that the barrier seemed to have slowed down time within it, thus making Adrian slowly digest the milk that he had previously drank while he was sleeping.

"But that aside, who the hell is that?" Alistar stopped looking at Adrian as he locked his gaze on a figure 10 meters away from them.

"Must be someone who works for the Queen," Alistar muttered, disappearing from where he stood.

****

Staring at where Alistar previously stood with a rapidly beating heart, a man who was 10 meters away from where Alistar had been had his black outfit stuck to him.

"So damn terrifying." The man said, placing his hand on his chest and thanking whatever made Alistar ignore him.

The man waited for his heartbeat to return to normal before pulling out a red crystal from his pocket.

"Just as you expected Alistar dealt with Theo." The man said with respect laced in his voice.

"Make sure he is dead." A feminine voice echoed through the crystal, every word of hers was coated in wickedness.

"Yes, Your Highness." The man said as the Queen hung up.

"Well, it's time for you to go my dear friend." Standing up from the branch he was on, the man said. Even though he knew there would come a time when he'd be disposed of he wasn't bothered.

****

"Argh... Damn it." Theo winced, trying to pull himself out of the tree he was embedded in.

He didn't know how he had managed to survive Alistar's attack but for now, all he knew was that he was taking a break from his wicked acts.

"Sigh... How low you've fallen, Theo." The man assigned to kill Theo said after he appeared out of nowhere.

"Since we were close friends I'll make it quick." Not allowing Theo to speak, the man pulled out a red scroll that had the pattern of a Demon's head engraved on it.

Opening the scroll, a mysterious power seemed to sap Theo of his strength as the man read the incantations needed to activate the scroll.

"Arga upe atin sa ode olori bu ru iday reil astay utay!!" His voice calm yet cruel sent shivers down the spine of everything in the forest.

"Igpay..." He concluded his chant, folding the scroll in his hands as what seemed to be a ghost materialized behind him.

It had blood-red skin that was littered with bumps all over, long white hair that seemed to be fused with the robes it wore, atop its head sat two ivory-looking horns, and in its mouth that was lined with ghastly teeth was a pitch-black sword that constantly radiated an aura of death.

The Demonic Ghost removed the blade from its mouth before stretching its free hand towards Theo.

Its ghostly hand passed through Theo's chest as it pulled out what seemed to be the latter's soul.

Completely taking out Theo's soul without him being able to even struggle, the Demonic Ghost plunged its sword into Theo's heart —ending his life in the swift manner that the man had promised.

With the Demonic Ghost form slowly vanishing, the man looked at Theo with slight pity in his voice. "See you later bud."

Disappearing from where he stood, the man left Theo's corpse out in the open forest but for some reason, all animals avoided that spot even scavengers.
