Learning - Magic And The System

"It is said that if the chosen one steps into the lake, their mana will be boosted 20x and the sword of myths, fret, will emerge from the lake, and be wielded by them?!"

"ISN'T THAT TOO GOOD?" He thought.

"The sword of myths isn't a joke, hell, even I haven't been able to wield that damn sword.. What's the deal?" He thought getting annoyed. "Well whatever, lets get another book." Asune climb the bookshelf once more, now throwing down the Mana Formation for beginners book. "Alright lets take a look.." Asune begins to read how to form his magic and how to make it stronger, but ultimately came to the conclusion

"I need to awaken.." He said Sadly

"The book says that humans usually awaken at the ages of 8 - 18.." Asune thinks, "From the looks of it." Asune thought while looking at his tiny baby body.

"That's a long while from now.." he said while crying

"Well, in the mean time, i can grow my Mana and True Essence. The problem is, i have no clue what the normal is for children.. i won't be able to blend in well.. Whatever, we'll cross that bridge when we get there."

"Asu~! Time to eat honey!" Natalia said now approaching Asunes door.

"Shit, i forgot again! Will i make it?" He thought now rushing to his bed. "Wait the books!" He thought turning around.

"Asu- Ah, darling come look! He was reading!" Natalia said to Jason, Jason rushes to the room, "Well, look at that!" Jason said having a big smile "Is it normal for babies to be reading at this age?" Asune thought. "Anyway, let us eat!" Natalia said, grabbing Asune, picking him up and carrying him to the dinner table. "oh, this smell.. i.. i.. I LOVE IT!" Asune thought, his mouth watering. They arrive at the dinner table and the table is filled with plates of food, different dishes that only master chefs could replicate, filled with meats, the rich looking plates teased Asune, as they sat down to eat, Asune began to grab a piece of meat, but Natalia says while wagging her finger, "No no! We must pray first!" "Pray?" Asune thought turning his head to the side in confusion. "We must thank our lord.." "They must be praying to me for being so merciful all those years. It only makes se-" "Shin." 

"What."

"He is our savior who defied the evil gods for the sake of humanity, so we must thank him for every meal, because without him, we would probably be dead, or worse, slaves to the gods" Natalia said to Asune. "I'd rather die than pray to that fucking bastard." Asune thinks. After dinner, Natalia takes Asune to his cradle once more "Goodnight, my love, i love you!" Asunes face softens.

"Hearing that has reminded of how a mothers love is the best thing one can have. I miss my mother." Asune thought somberly.

"Now is not the time to be sad, i have to be resilient. I have to have faith." Asune thought, getting up out of his cradle and walking towards the bookshelf.

For the rest of the night Asune spent hours reading on magic, attributes, classes, royalty and much more. By the morning he was asleep on the floor with open books surrounding him. "Asu~ It's time to get up~!" Natalia said, "Asu?" She enters the room, to see Asune sleep on the floor with open books surrounding him. "Aw.." Natalia says holding her hand to her heart. She walks over to Asune, picks him up, and places him in his cradle, "Rest well, my dear." she whispers, closing the door softly. Asune wakes up 2 hours after they left.

"How did i end up in my bed?" Asune thought.

"Why didn't the system wake me up- Wait.. i slept through the alarm.." "I guess i have to train again." Asune gets up and climbs out of his cradle, sits in the middle of the floor and begins to train his True Essence. For 8 hours he trained non stop, reading more books, and explored the System. "Hm, i guess i should check out the shop." "Shop." [Bloop!] A screen appears with different armors, swords, potions and skill icons. [Welcome to the shop, where you can buy anything your heart desires.] "Hm, whatever my heart desires?" Asune scans the market, "Let's see i have 500 ulr1 so i can at least buy a skill." Asune begins scanning the skill section of the market.

"Oh? They have this skill on here, and it's super cheap, they must not know how good this skill is." He though as he pressed buy.

"Well that should be enough training and exploring for today." He said stretching and yawning. He climbs back into his crib and falls asleep, only to be woken up by the sound of yelling. He opens his eyes slowly "Ugh.. What's going on?" He begins to tiredly climb out of his crib to make his way to his parents bed room.

"IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU I WOULD HAVE HAD IT." Jason yells.

"OH, IT IF WASN'T FOR ME, LIKE ALL OF THIS IS MY FAULT." Natalia Retaliates. "IT IS, ALL OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT." "HOW EXACTLY IS ALL OF THIS MY FAULT, JASON? EXPLAIN." "BECAUSE IF YOU DIDN'T INTERRUPT ME, I WOULD HAVE FUCKING DID IT." "DON'T YOU CURSE AT ME, MISTER." "OH SO NOW I'M THE BAD GUY?" "YES, AND IF YOU-" The door slowly creaks open, both of them stop and look at the door, "Oh, Asu, honey, did we wake you? Im so sorry. Daddy's being mean to mommy." she says picking him up and walking out of the room "So you're making me look like the bad guy even in front of our child?" Jason says.

"It's okay, okay? Mommy will solve this, just try to sleep okay?" Natalia said holding Asune in her arms, rocking him. "She's being abused.. That fucking scum.."

"Right now i won't be able to do anything. but i promise he will get what's coming to him."
