"What?"
Ava was white as chalk. Her eyes and her mouth were frozen wide open in an expression of stunned surprise, and although she was staring straight at Levin, she appeared not to notice him at all!
Remembering Levin's discussion about the strings, Ava's face started turning red. Her cheeks were suddenly kissed pink like a spring rose, the blooming color so cute against her white skin.
Ava's blush seared through her cheeks and for a minute she thought her face was on fire. She suddenly felt awkward, demure, and coy; even going as far as attempting to hide her rosy features behind her slim fingers.
Seeing her this way made Levin avert his gaze from her, understanding why the demoness might feel shy towards him now.
It's because she knew what the strings meant and now the two of them might've thought of the same thing.
That there is a possibility between them.
