The First Meet.

(A / N: It's kind of weird to put the narration of the character together with the thoughts, so to separate and make reading easier, from this chapter on I'll put a ( ' ) At the beginning and end of the thoughts, while the narration will be normal text.)

(Yuki POV)

You know, my life has always been very boring because of my illness. I was never able to play with the other children, because I was afraid of becoming a bone girl, and I could never run and explore the world outside the gates of my house. But that never stopped me from dreaming.

I dreamed of going on great adventures, venturing on earth, air, and water. I dreamed of discovering unbelievable things and make lots of friends along the way. Yeah, the dream of any bored person who likes adventure.

But you know, when something really out of the ordinary happens, something out of your reality or comfort zone, you realize that things aren't as cool as we imagine.

Not long ago, I was attacked by some kind of monster. A horrible monster that caused me extreme fear and terror. And that's what you expect from someone who lives in a modern, logical world. By logic and science, that thing shouldn't exist. And even so, it showed up in front of me.

I could just convince myself that this is all a dream. But let's face reality, if it was a dream I would have woken up a long time ago. My body wouldn't let me stay asleep if I felt super high stress level, I would have been forced to wake up by my on body.

And I may have been bedridden for most of my life, but I'm not a weak-minded person to hide from reality or go crazy. It took me a long time, but I overcome the news that I was going to be bedridden for the rest of my life, and when I say ''for the rest of my life'' I mean until I'm twenty, because my doctor informed me that I would not live beyond twenty. I got this news five years ago when I was twelve. Seriously, imagine the psychological pressure a twelve-year-old girl would have if she know she's only going to live for another eith years, and she will be trapped in a bed until the moment of her death.

If people knew what happened to me some time ago, some could might say that I just pretend to be strong, but in reality I'm just quick to adapt. I may have freaked out over the monster, but after seeing that I was out of danger, my head discarded that instinctive fear and I was able to think more clearly. I don't know if it's because my psychological recovery is very high, or if it's because of Tic, who emits a very calm and happy aura. But it doesn't change the fact that I quickly adapted to the situation when I was out of danger of death.

I felt proud of my strong psyche, and even more so after that monster event, which barely happened a few minutes ago. But this pride of mine was easily broken, as if someone had dropped a stone of a ton into a small, fragile glass.

I'm completely amazed. I'm felling weak and dizzy, I feel like my common sense was thrown away and I'm not sure about anything anymore.

After Tic says something about going to see Temporis-sama, a burst of light have hit me, and suddenly, out of nowhere, I found myself somewhere else. Completely unlike anything I've ever seen.....and maybe no one has ever seen it, because this.....this can't be real.

''What the hell is this...''

''Welcome to Tic's house, Tic!''

I'm sitting on a golden and circular floating platform together with Tic , and around me, there was a kind of transparent bubble, as if it was holding me back from get out of here, not that I could. Around me, I could observe something that seems to have come out of fantasy books.

This is a huge, gigantic place, I could barely see the end. On the walls, countless gears of various sizes were moving. The gears are blue and emit a strong light, as if they were made of light itself. Around me, I can see through the air, something like little golden book characters dancing in the air, like butterflies, I can also see creatures like huge winged snakes with several wings and silver dolphins swimming and flying through the air.

This place was completely filled with infinitely sized bookshelves on the sides, and on the shelves, infinite numbers of books, of different sizes and colors.

Between the shelves, countless huge stairs moved from side to side, it was as if this has come out of the Harry Potter books I read when I was younger.

On the countless stairs, tens of thousands of tiny creatures like Tic moved from one place to another, picking up books, reading them, putting them back on the shelf and cleaning them. The little creatures had different colors, white, yellow, green, blue, lilac and red. And each of them are doing something different.

Several of them watched us as they waved at me and Tic, and Tic is waving back.

''Guys, I'm back, Tic! And I brought the anomaly with me, Tic!''

''E-Eh? Kya!'' Suddenly, the floating platform started to move upwards, making me out of my stupor.

''Erm....T-Tic-chan? I don't want to spoil your family meeting moment...but...where...how.....what is this place? Where we....Where am I?''

Tic stopped waving and turned to look at me.

''This place, Tic's house, Tic! The Tower of Forgotten Time, and it's also Temporis-sama's house, Tic!''

''Right.....you've said that name a few times, but who.... or what is Temporis-sama?''

Hearing my question, Tic quickly seemed to get more excited, as if I was asking about his favorite music idol.

''Temporis-sama is the best, Tic! The kindest, Tic! The most beautiful, Tic! And small breasts are the best, Tic!''

''That wasn't really helpful at all, but Tic-chan...who told you that about small boobs?''

''Temporis-sama said, Tic! Small breasts are best, Tic! Temporis-sama is always right, Tic!'' Tic said as he took a few excited hops, as if he was proud and happy to share his master's knowledge with me.

''Well, she's not quite right, you see, the breasts....'' I started to try explain to Tic, but then I groped my breasts slightly, and...I felt a little weird and disappointed in myself.

''Huh? Are you okay? Tic!''

Fumbling my breasts some more, I quickly came to a conclusion.

''You know what, Tic-chan? Whoever Temporis-sama is, she is really smart!!''

''Sure, Tic! Temporis-sama is the smartest, Tic!'' Tic said as he continued to bounce happily.

'I never stopped to think or care about it, but now that he brought it up...my breasts are really small, huh....'

''So... we've been going up for a long time now, where are we going?''

''We are going to see Temporis-sama, Tic!''

I thinkIt's been an hour we've been going up, and the landscape is pretty much the same. Not that I'm complaining, I may have been seeing the same landscape for almost an hour, but it's still amazing.

''Hey, Tic-chan?''

''What is it? Tic!''

''Can you tell me a joke? I'm really bored here.''

''A joke? Sure! Tic! What do cows produce during an earthquake? Tic!''

''.....Milk?''

''They produce Milk-shake! Tic!''

'I really don't know if this was meant to be a joke as it wasn't the least bit funny. Wait, how does he know about these things?'

'Oooh, I remember now, he can use the internet...'

''I changed my mind, can you tell me a story, Tic-chan? Any history is fine.''

''Tic knows lots and lots of stories! I'll tell you my favorite, do you want to hear it? Tic!''

''Hehe, of course! I would be honored to hear your favorite story!''

'Please don't be a story of cows and earthquakes.'

''Alright, Tic!'' Tic moved out of my side and came right over my lap and started to snuggle.

'That's cute....'

''The name of the story is Initium, and it starts like this, Tic.....''

''Heeeh, so the being of light tore out four pieces of itself, and from these four pieces, four new beings of light were born, one of them being Temporis?''

''That's right, Tic! That's how it all started, Tic!''

If I got it right, this story is the story of how it all started. This is very interesting, considering that no religion or theory has come close to what this story says.

*Rumble*

''W-What is it now!''

The platform shuddered and stopped, and at the front of the platform, a sort of bridge made of golden light appeared.

Tic seeing this, started walking towards the bridge, and to my surprise, the bubble that was around me made me float and started following right behind Tic.

I just stood there and waited, as I already knew we were going to see his boss, Temporis, the owner of this place.

After a while, we arrived in front of a huge double door, it was full of blue gears that moved and with strange symbols all around. I'm sure it's the most original and beautiful door I've ever seen.

''Wow....''

''We arrived, Tic!''

*Rumble*

*Rumble*

The doors shuddered and opened, and from within, a blinding light caught me off guard, making me close my eyes quickly.

''Urgh...''

I kept my eyes closed for a while longer so I wouldn't hurt my eyes.

''Temporis-sama, I found and brought the anomaly as requested!''

''Reporting. Very well done, Tic. Again you did an excellent job, as expected from my best guardian.''

I froze at hearing another voice that didn't belong to me or Tic. It was such a sweet and mesmerizing voice, such a relaxing and seductive voice. Even though I don't feel any emotion in that voice, it still makes me feel like I'm lying on the clouds relaxing while I bathe in the sunshine.

Opening my eyes slowly, I saw a being totally out of this world. My heart is beating fast, and I can feel my chest and face heat up to an enormous extent.

My arms and hands began to shake slightly. Even with my face and chest on fire, even though I feel like I'm going to explode I don't for a second want to take my eyes off this being.

Looking at her, my body was filled with a strange sensation, as if my body was unconsciously being drawn to it.

This feeling.....I've never felt this before.....

But even though I've never felt this before, I'm sure that...

'I think I fell in love...'
