[Mature content] There are depictions of violence/gore and abuse towards characters. Sent to another world similar to her original she lives as Avalon Kanze a girl with rocky blood relations. Living in a country that didn't exist in the other world Niahurii, she is forced by her blood relations to join the military as a man. Unwilling, but the deal they strike is the only reason for her doing so. Avalon's lazy days in the military begin to change when that man appeared. Plans begin to change, new conflicts and allies begin to arrive. Can she keep her identity a secret or will they learn the truth? But most of all can she keep her darkest secret, the truth about her 'disease' and condition from everyone. __________________________________________________________________ "I can't believe they are forcing you to do this just to cut ties with them. How ridiculous since they've never treated you like family." "There is nothing I can do but to do this... as a man. On the bright side, we get to see the inner works of things here so we can use the useful points." "How can you be so optimistic when they are sending you to a suicide unit." "I've already died once and experienced true hell on earth. This is honestly child's play in comparison. So I see no reason to be afraid." Avalon sighed as she tightened the bandage around her chest. "Besides this world is behind in comparison. My ability will ensure I survive. So don't worry once it's all said and done. We will no longer stand for them. I will change this world from my 'home'. So dear brother be ready for the 2nd coming of Raijia's Silver Esper."

Gone Too Far

A few days of training have gone by and Avalon's slowly begun to improved in the area's she's lacking. But it wasn't the best as she was still behind from the other's. Col Snow was outside the captain's office and knocked. Lukas replied calling him in.

"You are here for your report on the recruits."

"Yes sir."

"Begin your report then."

"Well sir recruits are progressing quickly, a few of them are hot headed, or have a bit of a personality issue…. but despite that… well…"

"What is it?"

"I don't understand why you brought 2Lt Liman to even attempt to join with the Onyx Wolves. Honestly in comparison to the other's he is lacking in comparison. Did you bring him to try something with the Liman family?"

"Did you forget what happed on the first day."

"No sir but I just can't ignore his faults."

Lukas's gaze sharpened, "so you are thinking I made a mistake."

"No sir. However I do not want to waste my time training such a hopeless recruit that won't be able to join."

"I see… very well then. You don't have to train 2Lt Liman, I'll train him myself."

"Sir?!"

"Dismissed."

Col Snow left Lukas' office confused about what just happened. Not understanding the reason what the captain has decided to train such a soldier. Lukas however had different thoughts. 'I'm sure that Liman is unaffected. That alone give's me a good enough reason to want him to stay. However… his action's suggest something else. I'm sure that he could become a very useful solider to our unit. Same with his friend from the same unit. I'm sure they are hiding something.' Lukas thought. This was something he determined after watching the training ever once and awhile. Yes, Avalon was clearly lacking physicality at the moment but he was sure she could do more.

On the other hand for Avalon for the last few days she has been dealing with Capt Zac Fischer harassment. From saying it was her family that got her here, and saying what she did was staged or a complete fluke. Avalon ignored it she didn't care what other's said about her, she learned this in her past life that other's people's opinion of her does not matter, and there is no way to please everyone, along with the fact there will always be someone that will just dislike you and don't let them get under your skin. She had learned many important life lessons in her past life, but even then she had never been one easy to anger.

Avalon was in the mess hall with Antonio for dinner. She normally ate with him having a light conversation. However, something happened this time as Capt Fischer decided to direct his attacks at Antonio trying to provoke him.

"Ro it's fine." Antonio muttered to Avalon who was mad.

"He's attacking you because you are with me. It's displeasing… but I'm not idiotic enough to start a fight over something like this. But I can't guaranty what I'll do when he crosses the line." Roan replied clenching his fist, before taking a bite out of her dinner and taking a drink.

"Lt Padilla you want to know what I've learned about you? That you are a bastard from Bridni of the Keyne district. I can't believe the let someone from the Keyne district join the army." Capt Fischer exclaimed with a smirk. Avalon clenched her fist tight that her knuckles were turning white. "What were they thinking letting a savage criminal from Keyne come anywhere near Sarith let alone join the army!"

"Fischer you're going a little too far."

"What don't you agree?! You've heard what happens in Keyne's disappearances, murder's, riots! Bridni even worse going against law enforcement. Everyone knows going to there is a death sentence!" Capt Fischer exclaimed. Avalon holding a glass in one hand begun to cause tighten her grip on it, the cup begun to creak.

"Ava!" Antonio warned in a low tone, it was clear this was something Antonio was quite used to.

"Not going to protest eh? Ha! I bet you didn't even get through school through your own merits rather lied, cheated and bribed his way to get through. There is no way someone like him could ever succeed, when facing someone from the other districts or even a person from Sarith!" Capt Fischer laughed, the glass in Avalon's hand shattered into pieces she kept her head down knowing that Antonio didn't want her to do anything, she just held her tongue and clenched her fist in anger and frustration. "You're a savage! Just like everyone else from Keyne's and should be grateful the government allows them to live. Keyne should be grateful to everyone one of Niahurii for putting up with such a blight!" Fischer growled, at this point, Avalon couldn't take it any longer and slammed her fist against the table hard the noise shocked everyone.

"Capt Fischer I suggest you take back those rude and insensitive comments you've just made." Roan growled head remaining down avoiding eye contact.

"Why, when they could very well be true. Keyne deserves to be purged."

She slammed her first again before standing up. She unclipped her gloves from around her wrists. "You want to fight so back Capt Fischer… huh? Well, you've done it… I'll fight you, to shut that damn mouth of yours as you've gone too far!" Roan growled in such a low tone that it sent chills down everyone's spin. She removed her gloves and placed them in front of Antonio as she stepped into the walkway. People quickly moved out of the way moving the tables as well.

"Finally, I'll love to put you in your place, 2Lt Liman."

"Eh? That so." Avalon drawled as she raised her head revealing a sharp gaze, and a slightly evil smile reviling some of her teeth. Her violet eyes were blazing with anger. The air around Avalon completely changed around her who at one moment seemed like the prey appeared to be the predator. Even though her hands were still bandaged the air was filled with a chill.

"I'll give you a chance Capt Fischer. I'll give you the first hit. But you better hope it is a good one that will knock me out." Roan said licking her lips slightly.

"Ro!" Antonio exclaimed with a fearful look more than aware of what she could do.

"Don't worry… I'm not going to kill him. After all, I've removed my gloves." Roan replied in a chilling monotone voice her eyes not leaving Capt Fischer who was in front of her.
