It has been Six years so Alec's is 19, Her younger brother is now 6 years old his name is Mickey, and Alec's papa name is Jae and her fathers name is Hunter.

Now Alec has seen or heard from her parents since the war with the rogues.

Her parents missed and went searching for their older daughter with the help of Jae's older brother, Akeem. Restless days and nights the family went searching into different territory , but still they didn't find her , so a month ago Akeem suggested they search in the human territory just one last time to make sure his niece is still alive.

So seeing that they had just a month remaining before they called off the search Jae had rented a motel a mile away from a lake house owned by Alex's Willison. Kate's older brother lake house. Jae had a feeling that he would find his daughter.
