First cultivation session

Sej took the 'Basic Body refinement technique' manual from the bookshelf and opened it. The book was a series of illustrations of body movements as a breathing technique. There were a total of 6 illustrations with 6 breathing methods, one for each of the stages in the body refinement realm. Taking a look at the first illustration, and breathing method, Sej tried to memorize the movements. Soon he placed the book down and attempted a go at cultivating. The first section of the book had three movements that were meant to be cycled one at a time. Sej started the movements and attempted to breathe in the designated fashion. Time passed, but he felt nothing. He quickly grew tired and took a break while checking the book again to see if he made any mistakes.

Through a process of trial and error, Sej quickly adapted his movement to fit the Illustrations. It was much harder than he thought it would be and the margin of error for the technique was small as well. 5 Days passed as life on the ship quickly became boring. Only on the sixth day did Sej feel something. It was an itch but it was everywhere on his skin. He quickly stopped the movements and the itch slowly went away. "Who created such a method to torture cultivators," he spoke to himself. "What masochists" That aside, he quickly started to train again. Slowly he started to feel a cold sensation flowing through his skin as his pores on his skin started opening up and accepting spiritual energy. Soon he was sweating bullets and almost moaned from the comfort. He thought, pain and pleasure, whoever made this technique is sick in the head. The feeling of comfort kept growing until he felt a sort of barrier between his skin and the surroundings break. Haha "I am finally a cultivator. I broke through to stage one, skin refining. Now I just need to keep this going until the spiritual energy naturally enters my skin and starts to penetrate my muscles. That would be the next stage of body refining. Sej could now feel the spiritual energy that was coming in contact with his skin. He could also feel it naturally seeping into the skin like a sponge before releasing it again. He continued with the exercises and that helped facilitate the absorption of the Spiritual energy.

Days continued to pass and Sej had already read the book about the History of the Ashfall sect. The book did not have much detail but described how 5 billion years ago, the Sects founding ancestor Ashfall stumbled upon this uninhabited and unclaimed galaxy. He spread the seeds of humanity on many habitual worlds while terraforming others to increase the living space of the people. The sect's ancestor was a world Expansion pinnacle expert who cultivated the laws of wind and fire. Due to him merging the laws in combat, he had great strength so no one contested the galaxies' supremacy from him. But he was old and later died from exhausting his lifespan. With his death, while he did manage to raise other world expansion realm cultivators, they could not inspire the fear that he did. Thus the arrival of the Apail family. 3 Billion years ago a foreign race, The Bee people attacked. Ever since the galaxy was through in the chaos of war and nothing could stop it. It was fight or die. Great wars happened every few centuries, while small skirmishes never stopped. As for the current situation or the details of the wars, they were not mentioned.
