FALSE RANKER: FINAL PART

A few minutes after the conversation between Jin-Ho and Dong-Seok.

"Since Cheul-Bin has forgotten the mining equipment... Me and the others will be exiting the dungeons and while doing so, we will discuss of our strategy to defeat that Giant Spider... So, you and Jae-Hyuk will be remaining in the Boss's lair during that time... "

"But Leader Dong-Seok.... What will happen if that Boss monster wakes up.... Both me and Jae-Hyuk will be butchere-"

"Don't worry!!... Nothing wrong will happen to the two of you... And the proof is right here and now... I raised my voice and the Giant Spider didn't even move by a milimeter... So, the two of you don't have any reason to worry... Just believe in me, I have experience dozens raids in C-rank dungeons, while both you and Jae-Hyuk are entering a C-rank dungeon for the first time.... Furthermore as a rookie hunter, you don't possess any experience from raiding dungeons, and this makes you less experience than even Jae-Hyuk... So, please... Hunter Jin-Ho believe in me."

"I know that I lack experience, bu-"

Jae-Hyuk had to place his right hand on the left shoulder of Jin-ho, and He immediately shook his head from right to left, when Jin-Ho turned around. This caused Jin-Ho to stop talking and calmed down. Dong-Seok turned around without giving the two of them any second gaze, when he saw Jae-Hyuk convincing Jin-Ho to wait for them in the lair.

As soon as the last of Dong-Seok's comrades entered the tunnel that acted both as the sole exit and entrance to the lair, Jae-Hyuk and Jin-Ho were blinded by a bright light and at the same time, they heard a deafening sound. When they regained their sights, the tunnel had collapsed and tons of rocks were obstructing it. It was clear to both of them without the need of exchanging words that the cause of the tunnel collapsing was not natural, but instead intentional.

"DAMN IT!! Those bastards intend to let us die in here... Why did you prevent me from trying to convince Dong-Seok to bring us outside with them... Damn it!... Why did you do that Jae-Hyuk!..."

Jae-Hyuk ignored Jin-Ho that was kneeling on the ground and was despairing, and inspected the blocked tunnel.

'It will take days to remove those rocks manually without the help of a mage-type hunter... Those guys will surely come back in about half an hour to make sure that we were eaten and that the Giant Arachnid is again asleep due to its slow digestion... I must deal with that Giant Arachnid which is moving slowly towards us...

But first, I must take care of that idiot who is crying like a spoiled brat that got his lollipop taken from him by a strong kid... If it was not for the fact that he was the future husband of Jin-Ah, and that he can act as my escape goat, when explaining what happened in this dungeon to the inspectors of the Korean Hunter Association.

I would have killed him or at least let Dong-Seok and his subordinates do it... May be I still could have gotten that skill, if I made that choice... Anyway, what's done is done... OH!.. I also forgot that I will need his set of armour and blade in the future to get out of a similar situation...'

[sigh...]

Jae-Hyuk sighed before he dashed towards Jin-Ho, and he immediately lifted him up.

"Stop with your childishness already, Jin-Ho... If you had kept on insisting for us to accompany them, they would have attacked you directly... In other words, I save you life... Plus, do you know that the Giant Arachnid is slowly moving towards us while being upside down... Even if it is around several dozens of meters away from us and it will not take long for it to be above us, at this rate... So, what do you choose death or fighting to death against a C-rank Boss Monster... What is your choice?!.."

"I-I-I WILL NEVER GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT!!.." Jin-Ho shouted as he grabbed his sword and stabbed it in the ground to help him get back up on his feet. Jae-Hyuk who was satisfied by his reply, leaned forward and ran towards the location below the Giant Arachnid Buryura.

"Activate -(SPRINT)- !.."

He sprinted with all his strength and he almost covered the distance between his destination and him in less than the blink of an eye. Suddenly, as he was only two meters away from the location, he jumped without losing the momentum that he gained while running. The power that his feet deployed while they were about to leave the ground, caused cracks in the form of web-like patterns to appear on the rocky ground.

"AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Buryura roared furiously at Jae-Hyuk who was heading towards him in mid-air with his right arm raised, while it unconsciously spitting several droplets of a greenish liquid. Some of those droplets hit Jae-Hyuk's arms, face and clothes, and those droplets burned the skin of the hunter.

But even while being burned by the acid of the monster, Jae-Hyuk didn't falter and landed a punch with all his strength at its lower jaw. The punch sent the head and abdomen of the spider moving backwards, and this caused the spider to lose its grip on its web.

[BAAM...]

The deafening sound of the massive Buryura falling on the ground, and a thick cloud of dust enveloped the monster completely. Jae-Hyuk slowly descended into the cloud of dust, and disappeared into the dust.

[BAAAMMMM....]

A deafening sound was once again heard in the lair, but this time, it was followed by a shockwave that blew dust and dirty everywhere.

"What the hell was that?! What is happening over there?!.. Jae-Hyuk!! How can an E-rank assassin-type hunter land a punch on a C-rank Boss Monster... That's impossible, unless he is one of those hunters that deliberately lower their magic power during the hunter test to obtain lower ranks... He is a False Ranker... What will he do to me? He will not kill me... Will he?! All the reports that I read about false ranker from throughout the world describe them as heinous murderers... "

As Jin-Ho finished talking to himself the dust filling the air settled down and the Giant Arachnid Buryura was lying on back of its grey carapace in front of Jae-Hyuk with its jaws dislocated and broken. Its multiple red eyes had lost their glow, and the threatening spider was no more as it was now just a prey at the mercy of a ferocious and powerful predator. As Jin-Ho was still looking at the miserable massive spider in disbelief, when he heard Jae-Hyuk's voice beside him.

"Please, lend me your sword... Jin-Ho..."

Jin-Ho automatically extended his right arm to his right, and let go his sword without looking at the source of the voice. The atmosphere throughout that interaction was awkward, as Jin-Ho acted as an automaton and Jae-Hyuk simply took the sword without saying any more words. Then, he walked slowly towards Buryura which was moving its eight legs, covered in black chitinous armor with grey exposed joints and his body, very fast as it tried to get back on its legs.

Unfortunately for it, Jae-Hyuk reached him before he could get back on its legs as it was current on its left side. Jae-Hyuk simply punched the Boss Monster lightly and it got back into its previous position and without wasting any second, he swung the sword in his right hand.

"KKKKKIIIIIEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Four left legs of the spider were cut like butter by the sword and fell down, as agonizing screams of the monster had difficulties getting out of its dislocated and broken maw. The blue blood gushed out of the part of the legs still attached to the monster for only a fraction of seconds before stopping, but this didn't bother Jae-Hyuk at all as he moved to slice the remaining four legs.

He then smiled as he looked at the limbless Giant Arachnid Buryura and opened his speak.

"Now, that you have been dealt with... We can start to seriously loot your dungeon.... Even if I don't value money more that those who are dear to me... Money is important... So, bear with me until I have loot everything, only then can I grant you.... The death that you deserve!..."
