Chapter 38 - The Long Holiday (1)

About a year after Jags left for good, Adi was found murdered at his workplace. His body had been burnt to a crisp – there was barely anything left. Veer was traumatised almost beyond repair. Firdaus and Vijay immediately flew out to Delhi to take care of him, but he was inconsolable. The little brother that he had protected fiercely all his life was gone, and he blamed himself.

Maya disappeared, too. It was only much later that everyone else found out that Jags had taken her out of the country to recuperate.

Nobody knows whether it was by accident or design, but Jags had taken Maya to Switzerland, and she managed to walk right into the middle of a torture session and rescued Adi, who was very much alive.

Jags was taking a walk around the beautiful town of Lucerne, when she spotted a cable car. The moment she entered the cable car, however, she stiffened.
