Chapter 2:

"WHAT!?" Ben and I scream at the same time

"No no no there is no way he can be my bodyguard... dad please can I get another person?" I practically beg

So in case no body understands.. my parents got me an undercover bodyguard to keep me intact?

But the problem

He's Ben Hart aka my ex boyfriend...

Don't look at me like that! We were basically twelve and I was dying to have a boyfriend just like barbie. And Ben is actually my only male friend that I actually LIKE. The rest are all a bunch of rich snobs my parents force me to be friends with.

We dated for a year, then I broke up with him... For the new love of my life...

Yes, I broke up with my boyfriend because of sawn Mendez

Geez it's not my fault! I had this feeling he was gonna come and take me away and I have to be ready.

Okay now that you know the back story there is no way my ex boyfriend is my body guard!

I mean the last thing I want is for him to be all up in my business and that might be a little hard because Ben is  the possessive type.

"No honey, he's the best underage security agent we have and besides he's a family friend so he's your bodyguard and that's final" my dad said not looking up from his newspaper

"But dad!" I whine

"Do you have any valid reason why he can't be your bodyguard?" My dad said in a Stern tone

"No..." I said hiding the truth

"I thought so.. now get ready your flight takes off at four and its already two" my dad said looking at his expensive wrist watch

Sighing, I turn around and look at Ben. His brown hair is gelled to perfection... As always, and his green eyes are sparkling. He's wearing a blue top and dark jeans and black converse.

And the smirk on his face isn't helping at all

"Diane... You look... Different" he said smiling

"Yeah I changed my look... So no one recognizes me" I said awkwardly

"But you look beautiful either ways" he said smiling at me

"Just remember the only reason I'm doing this is because I want to go to school and I won't let you ruin my chance" I said through my teeth

"Ok" was all he said

"So how did your parents take the news that you're leaving Seattle?" I ask to make small talk

He may be my ex boyfriend but that doesn't make him my enemy

"Well they were shocked, but then they were happy for me " he said calmly

"Okay..." I said awkwardly

Talking to your ex... How awkward is that!?

"Uh... I'mma go pack my stuff" i said then backed away slowly to my room.

"Bye honey!" Mom and dad say as I leave the gates

As much as I hate this huge house with bodyguards... It's still my home

"Be good, and follow the rules okay!?" My mom said as she wipes her tears

"And remember... Don't think of getting pregnant!" My dad said with a glare then ended up grinning

I'm gonna miss that grin...

"I'll miss you so much" I said as I wipe the tears that I didn't even know we're falling.

"You'll always be our baby girl... Remember that" my dad said as he kissed my forehead

I've never really been away from my parents before so all of this is just so new to me.

"Bye honey!" They say one more time then the aeroplane door closes

Yes, we have a private aeroplane.

"Would you like anything for the trip miss Roberts?" The air hostess says smiling

"Um I could use a Sprite" I said not looking up from my tablet

"And for you sir?" She asks Ben

"I'll have a Mac n'cheese with a Sprite for now" he said then sits back on the chair

"You know it's not safe to have that much food before a long trip right?" I said

"What!? Do you think all this just happens?" he said pointing at his face

"Whatever" I said plugging in my earphones

at Chicago...

"Oh my gosh!!" I screamed as Holly grabbed me in her arms

Holly springs is my amazing cousin. She's my partner in crime and she's pretty much the sister I never had.

"Diane! You look so different" she said flashing her million dollar smile

"Yeah.  I had to change my look so no one recognizes me" I said

"But youve changed too" I said as I got a proper view of her. Her brown hair was a bit longer and her hazel eyes were even brighter.

She was wearing a blue ripped dolgris with a white top and her amazing nike  .

"Well it makes you look hot" she said smirking

"I'm here too" Ben said waving awkwardly

"Yeah we know" holly and I said simultaneously

"Girls" Ben said rolling his eyes and walking away

"So how've you been" I ask

"Tell me everything!" I said as i plopped on her soft canopy bed

"Girls keep it down in there!" My aunt Tessa who happens to be Holly's mom screamed

"Sorry mom!" Holly screamed back

"Well my life has been going great" she said with a smile

"Dets" I said smirking

"Alright I have a boyfriend" she blurted

"Omg!!" I squeal

"Yeahhh" she said blushing

"So who is he, what does he look like when did you get together? Tell me everything!!" I said excitedly

"Alright. His name is Asher Angel and we got together in February"

Oh wow

"Asher angel... Really?" I said crossing my arms over my chest

"You little rat!" I said as I threw a pillow at her

"Did you just?" She said laughing

"Yes I did!. What you gonna do about it" I said smirking

She totally whacked the smirk of my face with a pillow

Ow!!!

"But seriously... I thought you had a real boyfriend" i said in between breaths after our pillow fight

"It's called acting" she said smirking

Oh the drama

"So school starts on Monday which is tomorrow so any pointers?." I asked curiously

"Well Ridgewood high is a home of many things" she started

"Of song and dance right?" I chirped

"What? No" she said and gave me the that's-not-even-real look

Eh?

"What do you mean" I asked scrunching my eyebrows In confusion

"When I say home of any places, I mean home of the jocks, cheerleaders, sluts, nerds, wannabes, the invincible people,..."

"Wait hold up.. invincible?" I asked

"Yeah the invincible people are those who just want to live their lives in highschool unoticed" she explained

"Ohh I get it" I said nodding my head

"But who's a nerd?" I ask again

"A nerd is person who is very smart, infant too smart. And this make the people around him who is not as smart hate him. They mostly wear glasses and ugly clothes" she explained again

"Ohhh" I said

"Now when we get to school tomorrow you are to live your entire life un noticed" she said In a commanding tone

"What? No" I argued

I don't wanna be invincible!!

"Yes!!. You have to. I'm telling you spotlight in highschool is one of the worst things ever" she said honestly

"Hmm" I said pouting

"You'll thank me later" she said smirking

"Now here are some rules of what you can and can't do" Holly said

"Another list if rules!! It's just highschool!" I exclaimed

"Yes." She stated before running into her wardrobe to grab a piece of paper which pretty much looks like the list

"But none of the highschool movies I watched said anything like that" I defended

"Oh honey" holly said laughing

"None of what highschool movies say are real. It's just a movie" Holly said

"Lies!" I said turning around

"Come on don't be mad" she said

"I wasn't really mad" I said smiling at her

"Awesome sauce!" She screamed

"What in the name of dad's butt groove are you talking about!?" I asked

"I made it up okay. Geez" she said smiling

"Girls!! Dont make me come in there!" Holly's mom screamed again

"Umm I guess this is our cue to go to bed" Holly said as she changed into her furry pyjamas

"I'll tell you the rest of the rules tomorrow okay?" She said as she climbed into the bed and off the lamp

"Okay. Goodnight Holly" I said before drifting off
