Getting Closer With Ruby
Since meeting at the Butterfly Cafe, Ruby and Roselyn's friendship has grown closer. They are like finding a soulmate. Their conversation was so connected and not monotonous.
Ruby never got tired of chatting with Roselyn, and vice versa.
One day, Roselyn took Ruby for a walk to the mall. It felt like a century had passed since last hung out with friends at the office.
At that time, Ruby had just woken up when she picked up the call from Roselyn. Her voice was still so hoarse and somewhat absent-minded.
"Where are you going?" asked Ruby. Not fully aware.
"We're going to the mall," Roselyn returned for some time. It felt like she was about to repeat it more than five times, but Ruby still asked where and where.
"Looks like you didn't get enough sleep last night, did you?" Roselyn guessed when she got no answer from Ruby again. She became suspicious, lest the child even sleeps again.
