Selene
My eyes hurt when I opened them, I couldn't remember how many times I'd been beaten by Abaddon. The room was lit my sunlight but it was still not enough light coming in.
The room spun for a moment as I struggled to sit upright, the weakness in my body making even this simple task a challenge. I glanced around, my surroundings hazy and unfamiliar, as I tried to gather my bearings.
The events of the previous day flooded back into my mind, the fight, the fire, and my desperate attempt to escape. But I was still here, still trapped in this nightmare. I couldn't afford to give up hope, though. I had to keep fighting, keep searching for a way out. My body ached, every muscle protesting, but I couldn't let that deter me.
