Yuna's Rage

"It sounded like you said you looked into my memories." Yuna said to her new husband.

"Yes, that is how our dream eaters extract information." Joe explained. "We can view the memories through them. I must say you really come from a fascinating world."

"Don't change the subject!" Yuna demanded. "You can't be going through my memories like that!"

"I had no idea you would find it so offensive." Joe said. "We only used your memories to try and improve your life here with us. To make you feel more at home."

"That doesn't matter." Yuna said. "If you want to know about me, ask me. Looking through my mind is a whole new level of creepy."

"I could show you my memories if you would like." Joe offered.

"No thank you." Yuna said. "I am not interested in doing something so vile. If I wish to know something about you, I will just ask."

"I really don't see why you are so upset." Joe said. "It was because we looked at your memories, we were able to recreate your favorite burger. I thought you would have been thrilled."

"You still have a lot to learn about me Joe." Yuna said as she got up from the table. Her food is unfinished. She wanted to keep eating, but was so furious that she wanted to leave. "Which room is mine?" Yuna asked.

"I can show you the way to my room if you would like." Joe said.

"No which room is mine." Yuna said.

"Do wives not normally sleep in the same bed as their husbands?" Joe asked.

"I agreed to marry you." Yuna said. "I never agreed to sleep in the same bed as you."

Joe paused unsure of what to say. "She's got you there my lord." Tyrell yelled as she entered the room. Elvin followed behind her. Tyrell looked at Yuna and saw that she was visibly upset. "You've been married for what an hour now? You can't seriously be fighting already. What happened to make you upset."

"Apparently my new wife is embarrassed by us viewing her memories." Joe explained.

"And you told her about that, my lord?" Tyrell said as she lowered her head and placed her palm on her forehead. "I thought you knew that humans, especially human women, care very deeply about their privacy."

"I didn't think it was a big deal." Joe said. "We only did that to make her feel more welcomed. I don't understand why she is upset."

"My lord." Tyrell said. "Please remember that she is a human, they are different from us. Don't try to impose your logic on her, you will only anger her further."

"Thank you." Yuna said to Tyrell. "If I do not have a room of my own can I just stay with Elvin?"

"You are welcome to any room you desire." Joe said. "I thought that you would want to share mine."

"So, I can take any room?" Yuna said. "Okay then!" With that she took a few steps away only to turn back and grab her burger off her plate. She took giant bites of it as she walked out of the room.

"I still don't know what I did wrong." Joe sighed. "So, I take it the elf is hungry?" Joe asked.

"Indeed, my lord." Tyrell answered. "I hope you do not mind that I brought her to the main dining hall to feast."

"No, I don't mind." Joe said in a somber tone.

"Are you upset, my lord?" Tyrell asked.

"I felt like we were connecting, that I was finally able to have a conversation with someone for once." Joe explained. "In all my life I have never encountered anyone like her. Her memories showed me a lot about her, but they did not do her justice."

"I am sure she will calm down and see the error of her ways my lord." Tyrell said. "I am sure being captured and then married on the same day is too much for a human to grapple with. She will eventually come to her senses I am sure of it."

"Oh, that reminds me." Joe said. "I want you to teach her how to use her void mana. You'll do that for me won't you sister?"

"Of course, my lord, your desire is my wish." Tyrell said.

"Still wish you would call me Big Bro like I asked." Joe said.

"I will not, my lord." Tyrell rejected him again. "I am leaving now to go see the queen. I want to make sure she has found a room to stay in as well as inform her of the training schedule."

"Oh, you already have a training schedule planned?" Joe asked.

"But of course, my lord." Tyrell answered. "I knew you would eventually ask me to train the human, so I thought of a plan in advance. You did ask me faster than I foresaw though."

"Oh, that's because we are both worried about her being assassinated and replaced by an enterprising young demon who would want to take her status as my partner." Joe explained.

"I need to hurry to her then my lord." Tyrell said as she ran out of the room. "I can't believe she would storm out when she cannot defend herself yet." She said to herself as she rushed room to room looking for where Yuna had gone.

Yuna was in fact in trouble. A low-level succubus servant in the castle had found Yuna in the hallway and had her cornered in one of the rooms. "If I kill you, the demon king will be my husband and I will able to drain his essence all I want." The succubus said. "Even if you have the master's eyes you are just a lowly human. It is time for you to die and for me to take my rightful place as queen."

Yuna listened to every word the succubus said and they infuriated her. After everything she had been through. All of the trials and tribulations in her life. After being summoned to another world. After being forced into a marriage. This demon, this succubus, had the nerve to say that her story was going to end here. Only one word came to mind for Yuna and she yelled it at the top of her lungs. "NO!" As she yelled her eyes ignited with a primal fury and the entire castle shook from her singular word. The succubus was sent flying backwards and crashed through a wall, landing unconscious in the hallway. Tyrell stood there at the other end of the hole and watched closely as Yuna's eyes burned.
