Skoval contract

Zero's room was dimly lit, with just a soft bedside lamp casting a warm glow. He made his way to the attached bathroom, turning on the shower. The cool water felt refreshing against his skin, washing away the day's exhaustion.

Wrapping a towel around his waist, he walked back into his bedroom. He collapsed onto the bed, letting out a deep sigh, ready to sink into a restful sleep. Just as he was about to close his eyes, the sharp ring of his phone interrupted his thoughts.

Zero reached over, picking up the call without even checking the caller ID. "Hello?"

"Boss, it's Tom," came the voice from the other end.

"Hey Tom," Zero said, sitting up on his bed, his curiosity piqued, "What's up?"

"I've got some intel on Billius Skoval," Tom began, his voice business-like.

Zero's eyes widened slightly. "Skoval? you got his information already?"

"That's the one and yes," Tom confirmed. "He's currently on a bodyguard mercenary job. It's a three-year contract, and this is his final year."

Zero leaned against the headboard, absorbing the information. "Tell me more," he urged.

Tom continued, "Skoval is 28. His hair is an unusual mix of black and blonde. And his background... it's tragic. His parents died when he was young, back when Russia was in a war with another country."

Zero's brow furrowed, "That's rough. Did he have any family left?"

Tom took a moment before answering, "He moved to Asia with his uncle Ikish after the death of his parents. But Ikish... he's not the best guardian."

Zero's interest deepened, "What do you mean?"

Tom sighed, "Ikish is an alcoholic and has been unemployed for years. From what I could find, it looks like he took Skoval in mainly to use him. He made the kid work so he could have money to buy alcohol."

"That's messed up," Zero murmured. "And Skoval? How did he fare in all this?"

"He's been sending money for the last 15 years," Tom replied. "Despite everything, it seems he feels a responsibility towards his uncle.", "I'm not sure what are you going to do with this info boss?"

Zero: "Tom, you know I'm not a good person right?"

Tom: "well I couldn't say you are boss, but at least you are nice to me."

Zero: "I'm planning to hire Skoval."

Tom didn't say anything for a minute: "And the reason why you chose him, boss?"

Zero: "Well just trust me and don't ask unnecessary questions, just make a bodyguard contract for 3 years and make the payment double his current payment,"

Tom paused. "You've always had a knack for seeing potential in people, boss. Alright, I'll trust you and get the contract prepared. Double the payment, you said?"

"Yes," Zero replied firmly, "Make it enticing. Make sure he can't refuse."

Tom nodded, "Consider it done. I'll have the paperwork ready by next week, if you need it earlier i can make it done by tomorrow."

Zero replied "When is his job contract finished? just finish it by then and find his contact"

Tom "his finishing his last job in 2 more weeks"

"good get it done by next week then, also anything else you want to tell me?" Zero asked Tom.

Tom shifted the topic to the games, his enthusiasm evident. "Boss, speaking of success, I've got some numbers for you that you'll find quite satisfying."

Zero raised an eyebrow, "Oh? Let's hear it."

"Our three major games have been raking in profits like never before. The net profit for this quarter alone has exceeded 300 million USD!" Tom exclaimed.

Zero smiled, clearly pleased but not surprised. "I had a feeling the 'skin' system would be a hit. People love personalization and uniqueness in games."

Tom chuckled, "I'll admit, I was skeptical at first. But the revenue from skins and accessories has skyrocketed. Players are paying top dollar to stand out and show off their unique styles."

"It's all about giving the players a sense of identity," Zero mused. "By buying a particular skin or accessory, they feel a deeper connection to the game. Plus, there's the prestige of having rare or limited-edition items. It's human nature to want to stand out and be recognized."

Tom nodded in agreement. "That's true. And with our frequent updates and regular introduction of new, limited-time items, the sales just keep climbing. But boss, with this influx of cash, we need a strategy on how to invest it. Do we expand, or do we diversify?"

Zero paused, taking a moment to organize his thoughts. "I've been thinking, rather than expanding in all directions, perhaps we should enhance what we already have."

Tom's interest piqued. "What do you have in mind?"

"I've been considering introducing monthly tournaments for our three main games," Zero explained, his tone steady. "There could be different levels, from beginner to pro, to make it inclusive. A small entry fee, but with the lure of in-game benefits and maybe even some cash prizes."

Tom adjusted his glasses, a thoughtful look on his face. "That's a pretty solid idea. It could boost activity and offer another revenue stream. And if we could get some local businesses on board for sponsorship?"

Zero nodded. "It's a thought. And if we manage to get some traction, maybe some local media coverage. Perhaps we could even live-stream the bigger matches and get a few gaming bloggers to comment."

Jotting down points, Tom said, "We could look into a simple leaderboard system, maybe give out badges or small in-game tokens for the winners."

Zero added, "We should also think about supporting our newer players. Some beginner guides, walkthroughs, perhaps. It could even be worthwhile to collaborate with a few local gamers to get some tips and tricks."

Zero continued, "Also please support creator in the entertainment media, people like streamers or Vidposter on the internet we can sponsor them"

Tom seemed to warm up to the idea. "This could set us apart from the typical games out there. A more community-driven approach. It's grassroots, but it could work."

Zero leaned back, "The key will be accessibility. I don't want this to be a regional thing. Let's ensure anyone interested, anywhere in the world, can join in."

Tom smiled, "A global-local game. I like it."

The dim light from Zero's screen bathed his room in a soft glow. There was a momentary silence before Tom resumed.

Tom continued, "Lastly boss I got information regarding Adrian Asher and the Ash co operation."

"Regarding Adrian Asher and the Ash Corporation," Tom began, checking through his notes. "It's bigger than we initially thought."

Zero's posture shifted, signaling his full attention. "Go on."
