The sound of the bell prompted a shuffle of movement among the students. Zero observed as the classmates began to disperse, some heading towards the cafeteria, and others engaging in animated conversations. Mike and Kayla, already immersed in discussing their thoughts about the upcoming tests, walked together. Zero followed, his thoughts focused on the academy and the hidden quest he had sensed.
Just as they approached the cafeteria, they spotted Camila Ava, a shy yet pretty girl with brown hair that cascaded over her shoulders. Her quiet demeanor contrasted with her warm and inviting smile. Mike, always eager to make new friends, decided to invite her along.
"Hey, we're heading to the cafeteria. Wanna join us?" Mike's friendly tone reached Camila's ears, and she blinked in surprise before a shy smile graced her lips.
"Um, sure. That sounds nice," Camila replied softly, her eyes lighting up with a mixture of gratitude and appreciation.
Introductions followed, with the trio exchanging pleasantries and getting to know each other better. Zero, a silent observer for the most part, greeted Camila with a nod and a courteous smile.
As they were about to head towards the cafeteria, Zero paused. "You guys go ahead. I'll catch up in a bit," he said, using the excuse of needing to use the restroom.
With that, Zero watched as Mike, Kayla, and Camila continued on their way to the cafeteria. In his mind, a quest had formed, he was sensing something tingling in his back pocket.
after taking the black obsidian ring and putting it on his finger a screen appeared:
=======================================
QUEST ALERT:
Quest: Clash of the Club Titans
Reward: 1000 Zen, +3 Intelligence
Failure: -3 Intelligence
Time Limit: 6 Hours
=======================================
Zero's eyes narrowed as he analyzed the quest details, a hint of intrigue flickering within them. A quest like this was out of the ordinary and morally ambiguous, especially in a place focused on academics. Yet, the ring's magical presence had never led him astray.
'I need to make club presidents fight each other' Zero thought.
A chilling grin spread across Zero's face, emanating an unsettling and eerie aura that sent shivers down the spines of those who caught sight of it.
with the black ring still intact 'status' zero commanded.

Zero clicks on the resentment rage serum to see the information.
The Resentment Rage Serum, when consumed by two individuals, intensifies hidden grudges and bitterness. Both people affected by the serum experience heightened anger and hatred towards each other, leading to explosive confrontations as they express their long-held resentments.
'Lucky me' Zero thought.
As he made his way towards the cafeteria, Zero considered the various clubs at NSE Academy. The school boasted a diverse array of clubs, each led by enthusiastic and passionate presidents. He would have to find two club leaders whose rivalry could be ignited that will cause lasting damage.
As Zero approached the cafeteria, a boisterous shout broke through the chatter of students.
"Over here, Zero!" Mike's voice rang out, and Zero spotted his friends at a table near the window. He made his way over, greeted by cheerful smiles and excited chatter.
"Hey, Zero!" Mike exclaimed, scooting over to make room. "Took you long enough. We were just talking about clubs. You know, the ones we're planning to join. What about you?"
Zero slid into the seat next to Mike, a thoughtful look in his eyes. "I'm still considering my options," he said, glancing at Kayla and Camila. "What about you two? Any thoughts on joining a club?"
Camila's eyes lit up, her shy demeanor giving way to genuine enthusiasm. "I've been thinking about joining the literature club. I love reading, and I think it would be a wonderful opportunity to meet others who share the same passion."
"That sounds perfect for you, Camila!" Kayla responded, her voice filled with support. "I'm also leaning towards the literature club. I've always enjoyed reading!" Kayla paused, "Either literature club or music".
Mike raised an eyebrow, turning to Kayla with a grin. "You can play music, Kayla?"
Kayla's face brightened, and she nodded enthusiastically. "yes! I sing a lot, and I also play the violin."
Mike's face broke into a wide grin, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "Soccer club for me! I've been playing for years, and I can't wait to represent NSE Academy on the field. Plus, I hear the competition is fierce, so it'll be a great challenge."
He turned to Zero, his curiosity piqued. "Come on, Zero, you must have some idea. Maybe the chess club? Or something more technical like the robotics club?"
Zero's expression remained enigmatic, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Perhaps I'll surprise you all. I might even join more than one."
Mike laughed, nudging Zero playfully. "Always the mysterious one, huh? Well, whatever you choose, I'm sure you'll excel. You're like a walking encyclopedia, after all."
Kayla chimed in, her tone teasing. "Don't let Mike's flattery get to you, Zero. We all know he's just hoping you'll help him with his homework."
The table erupted in laughter, even Zero cracking a smile at the good-natured ribbing.
Mike feigned indignation, putting a hand to his chest. "Me, use Zero for homework help? I'm wounded, Kayla. Truly wounded."
Camila's soft giggle added to the light-hearted atmosphere, her initial shyness replaced by a sense of camaraderie.
As they continued to eat and chat, Zero found himself hearing something interesting from a nearby table. A group of senior students was engaged in a serious conversation, their voices filled with both exhaustion and exasperation.
