The Rescue Mission

Aaron freaked out. His face turned pale and his heart skipped a bit. Tarou burst out laughing

- Calm Down, the mummy hand is attached to your t- shirt.

- I.. I know that...we must get out of here. This place is creepy.

They walked out of the room into a long tunnel, it was dark again but they could see what was in front of them.

Aaron took a fire torch was hanged to the wall and moved forward carefully.

- Do you think we will find something at the end of it? Asked Aaron

- I hope so, I really want to get out of this place as soon as possible.

While they were walking, Aaron stepped on a moving area on the ground. They heard a ticking sound, then....

- WATCH OUT!! Screamed Tarou, then he pushed Aaron to the ground.

Arrows were fired at him, if it wasn't for Tarou he would be dead.

Tarou helped Aaron stood up:

- If it was some sort of creature, I would be glad to attack him, but this is really tiring. We must stay alert all the time.

They kept moving slowly, So The tunnel seemed much longer. They managed to avoid a lot of traps. Finally it came to an end.

There was a golden door in front of them.

- Is that the door that will lead us to the golden mountain?

-I don't think it would be this obvious.

They went to the door to open it without noticing the last trap. A very thin string was put near the ground. While walking , Tarou pulled the string without notice it. Suddenly, the ground disappeared under their feet and they fell down.
