The Runaway Huntress

*WPC #139 FL-modern werewolf Silver Tier ******************** Too much for being a werewolf. A werewolf that can never shift. But that's the least of her concerns. For she had a pack to hunt, a family to avenge, and a life to survive. Melisca Lorwey is a half-blood wolf and human. Exiled by her father's clan and hated by her mother's side. When both of her parents died, she had no one else but herself alone. Witnessing how her parents had been murdered, she decided to hunt the killers as her life mission. Though she couldn't shift, she still had the abilities of a wolf. Then someone added to her life complications. Ezekiel Rawson Stavrus made her mission even harder to accomplish. She doesn't want anyone to distract or, worse, stop her plans. The very last thing she needed was the most powerful and possessive alpha chasing after her. So the moment she heard him say, “Mine." She fled away like her life's on the line. --------------------------- AN: This is not your typical romance. This is not your lovey-dovey werewolf troupe. THIS IS BLOODY, VENGEFUL, AND ANGRY. It focuses in bloody revenge, duties, and responsibilities first. Love isn't everything for the characters. It could be all or nothing in their wicked world of greed, power, and darkness. Shared universe with... > SYSTEM MISSION: TAME THE MAFIA BOSS - Military General FL and Mafia Boss ML Please check this out as well. Thank you. Love in Hate in Love - Artist/Musician FL and CEO ML

CHAPTER 62

CHAPTER 62

Gandolf opened the door to Ezekiel's office. His king permitted him to come inside when he knocked at the door. He closed it behind him and sauntered in his direction.

Ezekiel was still busy with the papers, but he allowed his gamma to enter the room. He did not spare him any glance. His entire focus was on the files he was reading.

Gandolf sat himself down in the chair in front of the working desk. He was waiting for Zek to finish the current document in his hand. The moment he looked up at him and propped the paper down, he sat up straight. Zek signed the document before closing the folder and putting the pen back in the pen holder at the upper-left corner of the table.

"What is it, Gandolf?" Ezekiel asked as he leaned back to the leather chair, but not before reaching for another folder. He crossed his leg to the other one, glanced at his general, and opened the document he propped on his lap.
