The RUDRA World: The World That Cries

Rudra means "the roarer," "dreadful," or "formidable." Ram, a normal office-going person from Gurgaon, India, had everything in his life. He was not exactly pampered, and being a middle child, a lot could agree on this, but his life took a turn when he found himself transmigrated to a new world. This world was something new for him; he had never read a novel or played any game to get a basic understanding of the situation. But in the darkest of times, there is always a flicker of light. Ding! "Welcome host; you have entered the Rudra world." "Why is there a voice in my head?" "Have I really lost it?" "Host, I am the system provided to you by the supreme will to guide you." "Wait, so you're a system, designed by the CEO of the US company Supreme, Will." System: "..." How will a person who has no clue about the fantasy or cultivation world survive in his new environment? Let’s see how Ram finds his way while evolving himself and conquering evil. _____________________________________________________________ Some points about the book 1. This is a new cultivation world story with different cultivation elements. It doesn't involve Qi or mana but uses "Prana" (Prana is an actual thing used in the yogic culture in India for the past 20,000 years), so anyone who likes to read a cultivation or fantasy story but wants something new could give it a try. 2. Though the character has a system with him, do note that that system is there to only guide him, not make him overpowered. 3. The protagonist does act silly at times, but it is to be expected as he is new to the system and cultivation, and you will realise sooner that he is actually very smart. 4. The character will evolve naturally as a human does in real life after learning their lesson; there will be no harem, but romance in the future is to be expected, and as the story progresses, there will be a lot of tension and definitely blood spilling and slaughters. 5. The main protagonist doesn't kill with overpowering strengths; he often uses his wits to outsmart the situation and trap the enemy before killing them. 6.Since this is my first time writing anything, there may be a few ‘You know what I mean"s here and there. I'm developing alongside Ram as the story unfolds. I wish you all a blessed and joyful day. _____________________________________________________________

The Dream

"I didn't think that I would sell all the product on day one; at least now I can change into new clothes and live more comfortably." Ram said he was happy with his deal today.

"Let's get down to the wood-chopping business now."

After dropping his purchased goods at his house, Ram went back to the forest, and while cutting the tree today, Ram noticed he was somehow able to sense the prana in the tree and use the tree's prana to change and reshape the tree branches. He then spent more than 2 hours just at the wood manipulation, and when he got tired, he sat, rested, then went ahead with the wood cutting job, and later, by the end of the day, he went to his house as usual.

Ram, while enjoying his evening chai and working on the wood sculpture, noticed that he was quicker than before and made 50 wood sculptures in an hour.

"Is it because of the wood law?"

"STATUS."

Wood Law 1 (intermediate)

Mission: Stay in the village for a month.

Reward: Lucky draw

"I reached the intermediate of wood law; when did this happen? Was it because of the manipulation of the tree prana I did today? Maybe that's why I got tired in less time, and here I thought it was because of all the trading and daily work."

Ram then prepared the food and ate it. While lying on his mat and stargazing, he murmured.

"I can learn wood law; why not some other law? I can at least try and see if I can control different laws."

While thinking and planning about this, Ram fell asleep.

In his dream, Ram entered in an illusory form and saw a huge ground filled with millions of ferocious-looking demons and ghosts, all carrying swords, spears, sabres, and knives, and fighting a person in the centre of a mountain made of dead bodies. This person was standing alone and fighting the surrounding demons and ghosts with a red spear in his hand. Wherever his spear turned, more than thousands of demons were slaughtered. He then opened his mouth and blasted fire like a dragon at the ghosts, burning them. This man was 7 feet tall and had long waist-length hair; he was wearing a black cloak dress; his arms were bloodied; and his facial features couldn't be seen because of all the blood splattered all over his body. Ram was not sure if it was his blood or the blood of demons, but the blood was everywhere. Blood was flowing like a river around him. After some time, the man in the black cloak slaughtered all the demons and ghosts. He then used his sleeve to wipe his face, turned, and directly saw Ram standing beside him.

Instantly, there was loud lightning and thunder in the sky, while rain started to pour on the ground. The black cloak man then, with a calm face, looked at Ram. It was as if he knew the existence of Ram from the very beginning when he entered this place.

What made Ram extremely terrified was that the man in the black cloak was directly staring at the illusory figure of Ram with extreme calm; this calmness was what made Ram tense and scarred. Ram then noticed that this man in the black cloak had the exact same resemblance to himself, just a few years older, and looked more handsome and mature, while also carrying the aura of blood thirst and slaughter.

Then the man in the black cloak took a step forward and directly appeared in front of Ram and said extremely slowly, "Do not waste too much time. Just pick up your weapon and accept the reality."
