BLOWING UP THE THREAT!

Chang and Gad Pa stared agape at the G7 drone.

The drone's head point revolved and what appeared like a digital scanner emerged. Blue rays shot forward as a mechanical voice spoke to them.

"Hold still, your data is being reviewed by the state agency for internal security. Place your hands where they can be seen!"

The two timidly obeyed. After all this was a military drone from the government, no doubt it was armed and could attack them if they showed any resistance.

The drone was scanning them while at the same time transmitting their data to the headquarters building at the capital. Of course the commander and all his agents were keenly following the procedure on the screen where live images of the proceedings were being relayed.

"This is strange! There's no sufficient data on the old man. His stats appear to be darkened!" one analyst agent reported.

"Unless, unless he is someone whom the government wanted classified or unknown!" his colleague added.

"And what does that mean?"

"Commander, I think I have found out the security breach!" the first agent stood up as he reported this poignant finding.

"Speak up!"

"This must be one of the ten!" he said, paused then added, "his release must have been the trigger of the alarm for the breach!"

"But who or what could have freed him? What about that young man, who is he?" the commander asked nearing the analyst computer to read the data for himself.

"It is even more strange commander. The young man is identified as Gad Pa, no parental or siblings records. He's aged 18 with a mere 2.4 Ability Points!" the agent stated eyes fixed on the screen of his computer.

"Basically a useless vessel. How did he even survive the jab? Such weaklings are not supposed to exist in Guramanda!" the commander sneered as he walked around then suddenly stopped on his tracks.

He quickly turned to the agent and asked.

"Are they the ones the spiders are after?" he already knew the answer to be affirmative.

However, his asking was because of the wonder that they could not explain. How could a young man with zero talent and a less than sufficient Ability Point be responsible for the release of a state prisoner?

That was the question in the minds of all who understood the magnitude of the matter.

While they deliberated over these questions at the military building, Gad Pa stared fixedly at the drone which was screening him from head to toe. At first he had felt frightened and weak before the drone but then a small smile appeared across his lips.

Chang stared at him and wondered what was wrong with the young man.

The smile grew even wider as Gad Pa slightly nodded his head.

In his inner self the Divine mind had activated and he was subconsciously communicating with it. It had started by notifying him of his reward after completing the first part of his mission.

"Would you like to activate the secret chamber?" the Divine Mind voice asked him. Gad Pa was excited. This was one of the buttons in his storeroom that was previously greyed and he couldn't access.

"I wonder what lies in there!" he said as he subconsciously issued a command to confirm access to the secret chamber.

His virtual surrounding changed abruptly as lights swirled around him for a second before returning to normal. The DM spoke again.

"Amenities? Control the G7 amenities?" Gad Pa quickly processed the information and subconsciously again asked the DM to proceed with the takeover.

{Level 1 military drone detected: Warning, your data has been transmitted to hostile authorities. Would you like to access the device controls?}

"Access!" Gad Pa confirmed.

{Accessing Device}

{Transmitted Data found. Proceeding with Data deletion}

{Data deletion completed! All images and personal stats have been erased. The drones camera and microphone are all disabled.}

" Great!" Gad Pa smiled at the efficiency of his talent. He was basically doing nothing, just standing there but controlling a military drone!

How cool!

He was delighted.

At the military building things were falling apart. Panic struck as all screens went dark for a moment and then restored automatically. Then they noticed all data was gone and the drone transmission ended.

"What happened?" the commander shouted angrily.

"Sir, there seems to be a bug interference. We have lost much control of the drone but not entirely! Weapons are still active. We can still fly the drone though we would probably crash it because we can't see!"

"Never mind flying it! Release all the stones on the two immediately and self- destruct the drone!" the commander issued the order fiercely.

"Sir, is the threat confirmed with these two yet?" the agent hesitated not wanting to harm 'innocent' G7 civilians. Nothing much had so far sufficed to warrant such an order.

But the commander was on his neck, boiling over with anger.

"What further confirmation do you require? Can't you see it is those two taking over the drone!? Quickly rain on them and blow it up!"

"Yes sir!"

"Sir! We have a problem sir!"

"What is it?"

"We have lost entire control of the drone, sir!"
