A painful memory

The sun began to rise, and I was groaning in annoyance. But when I heard the door open, I opened my eyes and saw that I was in a large room.

'Where am I?' I thought to myself, I then heard a familiar voice that I thought I wouldn't hear again.

"Morning honey, are you ready for today?" I turned towards the voice and saw my dead fiancé, Lilith, her hair was light blond, and it was a bob cut.

Her green eyes light up when the sun reflected on them, she wore a white shirt and blue jeans. Seeing her brought tears in my eyes and I tried to hold back my sobs.

She looked concerned and soon came to my side and wiped my eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong babe?" Her hand was warm, and soft. I gently placed my hand on hers and smiled towards her.

"Nothing is wrong my little sunflower." I said while I gently kissed her on the lips. She giggled at what I did and soon did the same.

"C'mon, dad's waiting for us downstairs in the dining room." As soon as she left, I pulled off the covers and began to get dressed.

I pulled out a white long sleeve shirt and some black jeans. At the same time, I made sure to check the ring I got four the two of us was on.

After seeing the ring on my finger, I made my way to the dining room. I then saw my Father-in-law. He had tanned skin and a long scar that began on the top of his head all the way to the other side of his chin.

He wore a black shirt and black jeans. In his hand was a fork and a knife that was sharp. Many people who saw him would stand still in fright.

But not me, he was friends of my father and mother, he was like an uncle to me. When I was only five years old, he took me into his home and raised me well.

As soon as he saw me, he had a bright smile on his face and laughed in delight.

"There is my future son-in-law. Come, come breakfast is still warm." He said while he gestured for me to sit next to my Fiancé.

"Thank you, uncle." I then made my way towards Lilith's side and held her hand. As she felt my hand on hers, she gripped my hand and smiled.

Soon, two chiefs came to our side and placed two plates in front of us. As they removed the metal cap, steam rose and reveled a plate full of eggs and bacon.

Two waiters then came to our sides and brought us two cups of coffee. I thanked the waiters, and they soon left us alone.

"So, tell me, when is the wedding for you two?" Me and Lilith looked at one another and smiled at each other.

"We decided to hold the wedding here, in the back yard if that is fine with you uncle." I said while I gently squeezed Lilith's hand.

My uncle smiled at what I said and asked a servant to call a wedding company and began to make preparations for the wedding.

My vision then began to be blurry, and I soon felt my eyes open once again. I then saw the white celling in my home and turned my head to the side.

Instead of the room I saw, all I saw was night city in all of its glory.

'Ah, it was just a memory.' Tears began to form in my eyes, and I tried to move my arms. But I felt something that was preventing me to move it.

I then turned to the other side and saw Sasha, she was sleeping peacefully, and she wore a smile on her face. Seeing her like this, made me smile.

'I may have lost someone once, but I won't lose anyone again' I then gently moved my body towards her and gently wrapped my arms around her.

As soon as I wrapped my arms around her, she yawned and rubbed her eyes. As she opened them, they were opened halfway since she was still tired.

"Morning babe." She then kissed me on the cheek and snuggled close to my chest. Sighing at my warmth and began to fall asleep.

I then shook her to prevent her from sleeping because I needed to make breakfast. She groaned and tried to put me down and force me to sleep.

But a few snakes gently pried her off me and began to heat themselves to a comfortable temperature.

Oh I forgot to mention the snakes found a heater and now they can heat themselves to a small bonfire all the way to a forest fire.

But that's not the point right now. For now I made some eggs and bacon and brought it back to the bed room.

As soon as I neared the bed, Sasha began to sniff the smell of food. She instantly sat up and her mouth began to drool at the food I made.

"Ohhh did you make breakfast?" She asked while jumping off the bed to get dressed.

"Yup, I saw that we had some eggs and bacon so I made this for today." I set the plate down on the night stand and began to change my clothes as well.

By the time I finished changing, Sasha was already eating the food I made. What she wore was a white shirt and black panties with some mismatched socks.

As she ate the eggs and bacon she moaned at the taste and began to eat quicker than normal. Seeing her like this made me think she is more of a child than an adult.

'If she was younger I would gladly adopt her as my sister.' Sasha then stopped eating and looked at me with narrow eyes.

"You thought of me as a child didn't you?" She said while she pouted. I couldn't help myself but chuckle at how cute she looked.

"No no I didn't, and even if I did I would make you my little sister." (GET THAT INCEST NONSENSE OUT OF YOUR FILTHY HEADS YOU DEGENERATE I AINT GOIN DOWN THAT PATH)

Sasha blushed at the thought of her being my sister, and I was somewhat able to know what she was thinking.

"Alright no more day dreams we need to head to base to see if Maine has any jobs available." Sasha then ate the rest of the food and soon got up to put on the rest of her clothes.

"Okay, give me a few minutes and I'll be down in a few okay?" She then runs off to take a shower and began to get ready.

I grabbed her plate and went downstairs to wash them and got ready for the day. I called some snakes over to make sure that they were all set with ammunition and got ready to head out.

By the time I finished, Sasha was already at the door and was leaning on the wall chewing some bubble gum.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yep." She said while popping her mouth. We then began to make our way down to the garage. But during our way down Sasha said something I didn't expect.

"You know, Rebeccas into you. You know that?" She said with a serious tone. I was shocked to learn that another woman in the gang was into me and I didn't notice.

"When did this start?" I asked while I kept a calm demeaner.

"She's been trying to catch your attention for a while now, and it started when you helped us against the Melstrom gang." She then sighs and places her head on my arm.

"She's like a sister I never had, so I wouldn't mind if you went for her as well." She said with a gentle voice and a smile was on her face.

"Well, I never really talked much to her, but I'll give her a shot and see if she peaks my interest." I said with the same gentle voice she had.

"Thank you." She the went on her tipi toes and gave me a quick peck on the cheek.

I patted her head and she smiled at my touch, but during our moment we got a message from Maine.

[Different spot today meet us at the afterlife at 19:00] M

I was confused on why we got the message and why we where changing spots. 'Maybe its a job that we need to do.'

I told Sasha about it and she just said that it was fine. So I replied to him that we'll see them there.

But for some reason I felt that something was going to happen and felt that I won't be able to do much.

(A/N) Hey hey here's todays chapter hope y'all are having a good spring and enjoying the sun. Sadly since finals are coming up I'll be posting this once a week sure it's not my best fan fic but it's what I enjoy.
