The First Seal - Misfortune

Xana looked at the group surrounding her with fear visible on her beautiful face, "What do you want from us..." she barley managed to say, secretly charging another spell.

"Well little lady, you or someone you know pissed off the wrong people..." The Boss smiled maliciously, "So we are here to rectify that."

"Hey boss the beauty is doing something..." Henchman 2 said "The ambient energy is flowing towards her and the kid"

"I know idiot, I've already started the restriction spell" The boss suddenly raised his hand skyward and quickly dropped it.

Immediately the nearby energy froze and Xana coughed up blood.

"You... What did you do!" Xana screamed

"Weren't you paying attention? I restricted the flow of energy which in turn caused you to suffer backlash." The boss mocked, turning to his men a moment after, "What did I tell you boys? I am stronger than her so it doesn't matter if she is a mage." He turned back towards her with a lecherous gaze "I could do whatever I want to her and she wouldn't be able to resist."

Xana could easily tell what he was referring to so she drew a dagger from her side and looked at the leader with a gaze of pure disgust "You try it and I promise you won't live another day!"

The boss broke out in a boisterous laugh, "What do you even think that rank 1 dagger could do to me! Bitch how about you come over here and kneel, then maybe I might consider this a one time accident." still with a lecherous gaze he scanned her body "After I thoroughly enjoy you of course... who knows you might enjoy it." he paused a moment "At least the other women who served me eventually did."

"Leader is pretty good at satisfying women"

"Don't you mean breaking them?"

"What's the difference. Regardless he tames them."

"He is great boss! After he is done he always gives them to us to enjoy."

The henchman said with similar gazes as their boss.

"Focus boys... we have to finish the job first, then I will tame her for you boys."

"Ah yes Sir!"

"You are right boss, job first, pleasure later."

The group quickly fell in line and focused on the task at hand.

"Okay boys, prep the restraints, archers stay focused, this bitch seems serious." The boss ordered "Though I doubt this will be much of challenge."

They quickly followed their orders and moved closer towards the duo of mother and son.

"STAY BACK!" Xana yelled

'I can't let them touch me or my son... I might have to use it, but... he wouldn't forgive me' Xana quickly debated to herself 'It doesn't matter. I will do it if it comes down to it. Please forgive me in advance...'

'Something like this has happened before hasn't it? But when? How could have I felt this before...' Zephrin thought to himself.

Suddenly a sharp pain shot through Zephrin's head and spread throughout his body right after. Zephrin wanted to scream but could not feel his own vocal cords, so he sat in silence as the pain got even higher.

'I see... the heavens are against me again... YOU BASTARDS! HOW FUCKING DARE YOU! I WILL SEE THIS DEBT PAID TENFOLD!' He screamed within his mind 'First I have to resolve this, I cannot let my mother be defiled, but how can I? I can't move again, and even if I could... I am not even in Tier 1, just a weak mortal... Hmm? I could use that but... if I do, my future cultivation will take longer. What about that method? It's considered heretical and hated by the bastard heavens, that doesn't matter though they already hate me.'

"Boss! The restraints are ready!" a henchman stated "We just need your orders!"

"Good." He smiled "Activate it!"

The ambient energy started rapidly shifted and started filling a crystal like gem on top of a strange device. When the gem finished filling the energy started flowing into unique marks covering the surface area of the device, after approximately 15 seconds every mark on the device was glowing a deep violet.

Xana felt extremely weak as a burst of dark energy flew through her body.

"Ah! It hurts! What is this? What did you do to me!?" She yelled as she fell to the ground and dropped her dagger.

"You really don't listen do you..." the boss sighed "This device was made for restraining prisoners who are at least Tier 3, plenty for a bitch in Tier 1." He ambled closer to her until a distance of less than 1 foot separated them, "Okay now be a good little bitch while I put this on you." he reached into his pocket and withdrew a necklace" It's a rank 2 item, it will seal your energy flow but it will definitely hurt less than that rank 3 device running right now."

"Don't fucking touch me you filthy bastard!"

"Now now, I am trying hard enough to control myself so I don't take you right now. But this act of defiance... it really gets me excited. I love breaking strong women the most."

He grasped her by her hair and forcefully wrapped the necklace around her neck. Not even 5 seconds later Xana felt her internal energy being sealed, despair flashed in her eyes as she realized she could no longer escape.

As tears began to flow down her face she could only think 'I will find a way out of this before it is too late... please help... I don't care where you come from, I don't even care if you are a devil help me... at least save my son. I will deal with anything that comes after just let him be safe at the very least.'

"You aren't so vicious now are you bitch?" he glanced at his henchman "Disable the generator and secure the boy. Oh before he dies place the 2nd pair on him and administer the cure to that poison." he started to walk away "Lets go the job isn't over and the disciplinary force should be arriving soon, and I for one don't intend to be here when they get here."
