21. Perverted Boss

Zayn didn't immediately answer Kirana's question, and it made Kirana even more panicked, "Zayn, why didn't you answer me?" asked Kirana again. Then she continued, "Did you didn't faint?"

That afternoon they returned to the capital and arrived just before evening. After dropping Kirana off, Zayn decides to meet someone at a café. When he found someone between the tables of visitors, Zayn immediately approached.

"What do you need to call me," Zayn asked without preamble as he shifted the chair he was going to occupy.

"Would you like to order something first?"

"No need. I can't stay here long, so quickly tell me what you want, Sintia?" Zayn repeated his question, sounding impatient.

Hearing Zayn's words that looked unfriendly, Sintia immediately said the real purpose of asking Zayn to meet. "Can you take Kirana far from here?"

"Why should I take her away? I don't have any rights over her," Zayn replied.

"Let's work together to separate Kirana and Adrian from each other!" Sintia made an offer.

"I feel it would be better not to work with you. You should cooperate with your husband and tell him to stay away from Kirana! I have my way of approaching Kirana without needing your help," Zayn refused.

Sintia is certainly disappointed to receive a rejection from Zayn. Whereas earlier, she hoped they could work together because it would be mutually beneficial for both.

Since Sintia didn't say anything, Zayn asked, "Can't you handle your husband?"

"Yesterday, your husband took Kirana away to Bogor and withhold her in a villa!" Zayn explained.

Sintia looked surprised and irritated because she felt lied to by Adrian. However, she tried to be as calm as possible in front of Zayn.

"How do you know if my husband took the woman away? Are you sure Kirana didn't refuse that too? She's not a child anymore, who can be easily carried away by adults if not for her will," said Sintia, who started to corner Zayn's statement.

Zayn feels more trust in Kirana, even though he knows that in Kirana's heart, Adrian is still there.

"Kirana asked me to come to pick her up there, and your husband is reluctant to let Kirana go. You can see his battered face later! That is the result of my actions that have beaten him for not wanting to let Kirana go," said Zayn.

"Ah, she wants to get attention from every man. What a wolf in sheep's clothing." Sintia reproached in an annoyed tone.

"I don't think we need to talk about anything anymore." Zayn got up from his seat, reluctant to respond to Sintia's reproach.

"If you don't keep her away from my husband, I'll keep her away myself!" said Sintia with a severe look at Zayn.

Zayn did not answer again and chose to leave Sintia just like that. The woman looked at Zayn's departure with angry eyes. Apart from being disappointed that Zayn didn't want to accept the offer, but also knew that Adrian lied about the bruises on his face.

Kirana entered the building where she worked. She was almost late. If that happened, Widia would scold her again. She joined the elevator to go to the third floor. Just as the elevator door was about to close, suddenly, someone was holding it, and it was Riko.

Kirana was stunned for a moment, not knowing what to do. She felt awkward dealing with a boss who always demanded perfection. There were only two of them in the elevator. "Good morning, Mr. Riko."

However, Riko ignored Kirana's greeting. His gaze was straight ahead. They mute each other. Going to the third floor seemed long for Kirana.

Riko grinned. "Damn! Who does that woman think she is? Just a lowly employee but dares to refuse me."

Suddenly, a white luxury car stopped in front of her, and a woman got out of the vehicle and approached her. Kirana, who saw the figure, immediately rolled her eyes.

"Come in! I want us to talk," said the woman.

"No! We don't have anything to talk about, Sintia," Kirana refused.

When Sintia was on the way, she accidentally saw Kirana, who was sitting on the side of the road. What a coincidence, she thought.

"Did you go with Adrian yesterday to Bogor?" asked Sintia with her arms folded across her chest.

"He took me by force!" Kirana answered briefly.

"Oh yeah? But you're happy, aren't you? How do you like being alone with someone's husband?" asked Sintia sarcastically.
