A scroll was hanging in front of Zach. It was magical, and only Zach could see this scroll. The man was only looking at the Bloodbeast flying in front of Zach.
But Zach focused on a different segment of the scroll where it said, [Quest: Strengthen your relationship with your Bloodbeast]
Zach was...confused. He never heard about anything like this, and he knew that this was the first time something like this happened.
Zach has always been quick-witted and fast on his feet. He knows that his Bloodbeast and this scroll are special.
No, it was one of a kind.
That was why Zach was ecstatic at the thought of turning his life around. He would be able to protect his brother and sisters now!
That was when he heard the man loudly shout, "What the...I thought it would be something special like a dragon, but it's a bird!!!"
The man couldn't help but burst out in laughter. After all, a bird was the weakest type of Bloodbeast.
"As I thought, trash is trash. You're just trash that's a little cleaner, that's all!" His teeth could be seen from how wide his smile was.
Zach looked the man dead in the eye, and surprisingly, his Bloodbeast, Blackbird also turned to look at the man.
Zach spoke, "So what happens to trash that's a little special?"
The man...felt threatened. Zach's presence seems so huge right now, but he wouldn't dare admit it!
'I'm actually being pressured by a shitty brat like this!?' The man thought to himself. He knew that it would be embarrassing to admit something like that.
That's why..."You pass! You go on to the general instructor to receive your instructions!" The man said, gesturing for the two men to guide Zach away.
Zach walked away without making any fuss. He didn't want to catch any attention here.
"That's a relief, right?" Keith said as he watched Zach, talking to Celine.
"Yeah...I hope he finds a new life and is able to eat anything as much as he wants." Celine clasped her hands together as if making a wish.
They knew that Zach would be living a better life now that he had awoken his Bloodbeast. And they were happy for him even if that meant they would be left behind.
They were just happy for him.

"Oh. A Bloodbeast actually came out from a stinky brat." The general instructor said as he greeted Zach in the wide garden.
Without stopping, he continued, "But well, you only have a bird as a Bloodbeast. Curse your bloodline for this, but your social status won't improve as much. You can only be a support-type Ranker."
Ranker. It is what you call the people who go on an adventure in order to explore unknown territory.
This unknown territory is a huge tower that just appears randomly in a desolate place. This tower contains a lot of monsters, dungeons, magical beasts, and demons that people have to clear out.
The main reason why people explore the towers is because they have to clear the monsters inside. If they don't, it will cause an outbreak, and monsters will come out and wreak havoc.
"You'll be assigned to a unit where you can conduct your training." The general instructor finished his assessment and just half-assed Zach's assignment.
However, as soon as he turned around, the general instructor opened his eyes wide in shock, "Great Elder!"
An old man wearing formal clothing like a tuxedo was walking towards them.
It was the Great Elder of the Kaiser Family, Hughes Kaiser.
'W-why is he out here?! The Great Elder has not been seen in public for 8 years now!' The general instructor was sweating buckets.
The one thing that he wanted to do right now was to report that the Great Elder was out of his seclusion to the family head of the Kaiser Family.
It was that big of a deal to see the Great Elder.
"Move, brat. I have no business with you," Hughes Kaiser firmly said those words to the general instructor.
Passing the general instructor, Hughes laid eyes on Zach, the boy who was just watching the scene.
Hughes carefully inspected Zach and his Bloodbeast. Blackbird wasn't moving at all; it was just looking at Hughes just like Zach.
"Come with me, kid." Hughes Kaiser offered his hand to Zach.
Zach was...confused. He did not know who the old man in front of him was, but he could understand that he was some sort of high-ranking elder in the Kaiser Family.
It was a mystery what the Great Elder wanted to do with Zach.
"You don't have a choice, you come with me or I destroy your miserable life," Hughes Kaiser said those words without any hesitations.
Zach, pressured by the immense presence of the old man, took his hand while shaking.
'I-it feels like my whole body is being crushed!' Zach thought as his eyes widened.
His Bloodbeast, however, was just calm - as if to brag that this immense pressure was not enough to catch his eye.
'Hoh. I knew it.' Hughes Kaiser was amused, but most importantly, he was happy, 'I never expected this day to come true...but I must do my duty.'
"Get ready, kid. I'll show you how to handle these beasts properly." Hughes Kaiser lifted his right hand and made a sign.
"Huh? Where...are we?" Zach...said as the scenario in front of him changed.
From the wide garden full of weeds and flowers, they were now surrounded by huge, tall trees.
"T-teleportation!?" Zach's eyes were wide open, not believing what happened just now.
After all, Zach doesn't know what Bloodbeast can do, technically. He just knows that a strong Bloodbeast can pave his way to success.
"Pretty neat, isn't it? This is one of my techniques that I developed using my Bloodbeast, the Great Eagle of the North." Hughes said while looking up, signaling for his Bloodbeast to come and rest on his elbow.
"Great Eagle of the North!!" Zach formed an 'O' with his mouth, amazed by the great Bloodbeast in front of him, "But doesn't that mean that we have the same type of Bloodbeast?" Zach carefully asked while staring at Hughes' Great Eagle.
Zach knew that a bird was the weakest type of Bloodbeast, but the one in front of him was not weak at all.
It was so big that Zach's bird could not even compare to its size. The Great Eagle even makes look Hughes small!
"Technically, they are in the same category. However, an eagle and a normal bird ain't the same, kid! Plus, my Bloodbeast is a Realm Lord in their world! It's a hundred times stronger than any normal Bloodbeast!" Hughes proudly stated while looking at his Bloodbeast.
"However, that is not why I called you here." Hughes turned around. He started to walk towards a big tree and continued talking, "I called you here in order to serve my purpose."
"Just like how every creature, every animal has their own purpose in life, I, too, have my own. And with your presence, I shall be able to complete my life." Hughes continued talking, "That is the only reason why I tried so hard to stay alive despite already living for 600 years!"
Feeling the pressure rise in the air with Hughes' speech, Zach put his guard up.
As if they were synchronized, Zach's Bloodbeast also prepared to fly away, strongly gripping Zach's shoulder.
They both felt the danger coming from the man in front of them!
The danger called Hughes Kaiser!
Hughes turned around fast while clapping his hands together loudly, the sound resonating throughout the whole forest.
With that clap, every hole in Hughes' body started to bleed out, "Great Eagle, I offer the years I spent accumulating and saving up my blood!"
The Great Eagle quickly flew up, but it was not just the Eagle. Every single tree in the forest was rising.
'That's...blood!' Zach thought as he watched the scenario, trying to come up with ways to escape.
However, with tall pillars of blood around him, the Great Eagle above, and Hughes Kaiser in front of him, 'There's no way out!' Zach thought, but he didn't give up.
"Just what are you planning to do to me?!" Zach shouted out, with hopes of finding an opening in order to escape.
"You are going to die!" Hughes Kaiser proudly smiled after stating those words, intensifying his killing intent to the max.
With his eyes, nose, ears, mouth, and every pore in his body bleeding out, he was a fearsome human...monster!
Clapping his hands to make a sign, Zach...disappeared. Three pillars of blood behind Hughes Kaiser disappeared as well as if paying the price for Zach's disappearance.
It was at that moment that a spark appeared in the bloody sky. Hughes Kaiser turned his entire body, the forest of blood to look at the spark.
And there he saw four people.
"The Holy Demon Lords!" Hughes Kaiser shouted out loud, but it caused another pillar to disappear.
"Great Eagle of the North! It seems like we weren't the only ones to have one of the feathers of the ominous aura!" One of the Holy Demon Lords stepped up and talked to Hughes Kaiser.
"How dare you betray us, you fucking insolent ant!" Another one said, "You activated Blood Curse just to fuck with us?!" All the Holy Demon Lords took turns to insult Hughes Kaiser, "With this foolish action, the Kaiser Family will lose a strong pillar."
However, Hughes Kaiser didn't let them continue running their mouths, "Hoho, you think you can insult me like this? I used everything to hide him! Even a scent of him will be impossible to find!" Hughes smiled.
Hughes jumped up, riding his Great Eagle to fly, "Holy Demon Lords! This is your end!"
It was the start of a great battle...of a massacre.
The Great Eagle of the North dies in battle.
