Chapter 4

3rd Person POV

Inside a room. Twenty teenagers and a teacher were hiding, with all of the windows were tightly shut with curtains covering them, and a door that was locked being guarded by a boy.

The boy who look no older than fourteen who stood 173cm tall, with a hair similar to midnight sky, and charcoal color eyes. He's the tallest among them all, and with his cold gaze he stopped everyone who wanted to go out of the room.

"Kaiser, I can't hold it anymore. I need to pee!" A boy with a buzz cut hair stood in front of him, as he struggle to hold back his urine on coming out.

"Do anyone of you have a tumbler? I need a big one." Kaiser asked, and a girl took out her tumbler and gave it to him.

"Here." Kaiser handed it to the boy.

"What I'm going to do with this?" The boy asked.

"What do you think?" Kaiser smirked, and the boy's eyelids to twitched.

"You want me to use this to relieve myself?!" The boy grumbled, while the other students snickered.

"Otherwise? Do you have any ways to do it?" Kaiser asked, and the boy shut his mouth.

"Lloyd, Liam, and Payne, help Rian on hiding it." Kaiser ordered, and those who were mentioned begrudgingly go to the back of the room to help Rian.

"Kaiser. Any news from the cousins of yours?" A woman who seems to be their teacher asked Kaiser.

"Don't worry ma'am Reyes. I just received a text from them, and they're going up here right now." Kaiser took out his phone, and handed it to his teacher to see.

"That's good." Ma'am Reyes smiled bitterly, and Kaiser tilted his head confusedly but didn't ask why.

Whimpering can be heard from the other corner of the room where all of the girls gathered, and Kaiser couldn't help sighing as he didn't know what to do to them.

"Can you stop crying. You will attract the zombies here, and it will be more difficult for the others to rescue us." Kaiser said, rubbing his temples.

"What do you want to do us then?! Cheer on what happening?!" One of the girl snapped.

"I want the all of you to shut up. Can you do that?" Kaiser glared at her. "Your crying wouldn't help anything to us, and it will only cause problem."

"Kaiser is right girls. Stop crying, you couldn't solve anything with crying." Their teacher agreed with Kaiser.

"Why are you scared anyway? I'm sure the zombies will runaway once they'll saw your faces." Payne try lightening up the mood but only made it worst, and the girls started bickering with the other boys.

Their shouting attracted the attentions of the zombies in the floor, and all of them gathered in front of their room. Luckily, a very loud song attracted the zombies attentions and all of them run to the source of the music.

Kaiser sighed in relief. Then picked up a chair, and smashed it on the ground. He attracted the attentions of his classmates, that didn't even knew they were almost attacked right now because of their bickering.

"All of you are already fourteen years old! You're starting to grow or some of you may have already a bush of pubic hair! Can you'll stop acting like a child?!" Kaiser scolded them, and all of them shut their mouths.

A knock then was heard, and all of them turn their heads to the door. "Kai it's us. Open the door." Said a voice, and Kaiser quickly opened the door, revealing two sixteen year old boys.

The boys entered the room, and locked the door. Kaiser furrowed his brows, as he noticed his brother is missing.

"Don't worry. Yuan is with the others in the broadcasting room, they're the one who played the music." Said Kiel, as he saw the look on Kaiser's face.

"We don't have the time to waste. We need to leave the campus right now!" Zimen stated, as he saw the zombies outside the campus was running to the campus, because of the music earlier.

"Where are we going?" A girl asked.

"To our house." Kiel replied, as he an Zimen put down their bag filled with metal pipes.

"Where did you get this?" The teacher asked.

"It was piled up near our classroom window." Zimen replied, while handing two metal pipes to Kaiser.

"The school has dozens of baseball bat in the TLE room. We can use those, this looks like will break any second." The teacher suggested, grabbing a pipe.

"Are they made of metals?" Zimen asked.

"Student athletes mostly use metal bat, so the school only buy metal made one." The teacher nodded, and Zimen grinned.

"That's good then. We will pick those along the way." Zimen said, and Kiel and Kaiser nodded.

"You said we will go to your house. Can your house even accommodate all of us?" A girl asked, and everyone nodded.

"If all of you don't want to go, we wouldn't force you to come with us." Kiel scoffed at them.

"You shouldn't be choosy in times like this. If you're living luxuriously yesterday, then learn how to live frugally from now on." Zimen glared at them, and they all looked down.

Its was easy to adjust from living frugal lifestyle to luxurious one. But it couldn't be said the same, the other way around.

Zimen knew this, yet he still said it because of his experiences. There's one time during his last life, when he and Kiel entered the camp where rich families were also in.

Since they couldn't adjust their lifestyle, and continued doing so even in times of crisis. They suffered the consequences, the foods in the camp run out, and everyone almost starved to death.

So Kiel and Zimen decided to leave the camp. They then heard from a survivor of that camp, that their camp fell still because of those people from rich families.

"Our house is big, and it's not far from here, we can go there. Who wants to come?" A girl wearing designers clothes asked, and majority of the classes raised their hands.

"It wo---"

"Let them go ma'am. Trying to persuade them to stay is futile." Zimen stopped the teacher, and the teacher looked hesitantly.

"If all of you are living, you will need some weapons. Take all of this with you." Said Kiel, also handing his weapon, with Kaiser and Zimen doing the same.

"Then we wouldn't be polite." Said the girl, as he order for the others to take the pipes. "Let's go guys!" She said, and all of the students who wanted to join her left the room. Leaving Zimen, Kiel, Kaiser, the teacher and six students in the room.

"Ma'am if you wouldn't mind me asking. Are you Yohan's mother?" Kiel asked, as he felt the teacher was familiar.

"Yes! Do you know where he is?!" The teacher asked, hope starting to fill her dead eyes.

"Don't worry he's safe. His also very worried about you." Zimen smiled, and the teacher sighed in relief.

"Lloyd, Liam, Payne, Rian, Gwen, and  Sasha. Are you sure you want to stay?" Kaiser asked.

"We're not dumb like them. If you didn't even think twice about bringing the whole class to your house, that's mean your house are big enough to accommodate all of us." The girl name Sasha wiggle his finger.

"Sasha is right. And if we go with them, with their low IQ. It will be a surprise if they managed to survived for a day." Gwen sighed.

"The parking lot is only across the school, we will meet the others there." Zimen said, and Gwen raised her hand. "Yes?"

"What will we use to go to your house?" Gwen asked.

"The school service. We rescued some teachers, and they have the key along with them." Zimen replied, and Gwen nodded.

"The entire third and second floor are safe. We will use the door of the TLE room in the second floor to get the bats. I will take the front, kaiser and Kiel with guard the rear, while the girls will be in the middle protected by the remaining boys." Zimen said, and all of them go to their positions.

"Let's go!" Zimen open the door, and he left the room followed by the others.

They scurried to the TLE room, and closed the door when they arrived. With the help of the teacher, they immediately found the thing they're looking for, and left the room after they put all of them in the bags that each of them are carrying.

They then scampered to the front gate, so they can go to the parking lot. Accidentally Gwen's phone rang, but thanks to the loud music they didn't attract the attention of the zombies.

Gwen answered the call, then told where she is and where she will be going, then hung up the phone. They then continued tiptoing, but Sasha's phone rang, and coincidentally the music ended, so they attracted the attentions of the zombies.

Kaiser and Kiel who's at the back, and was near the zombies. Immediately took a fighting stance holding their baseball bats, while Zimen also walk toward them, after ordering for the others to run without them.

The teacher didn't hesitate, as she took both Gwen's and Sasha's hand and darted to the parking lot. Lloyd, Liam, Payne, and Rian followed behind them, each carrying a bag full of baseball bats. They saw the school service and hasten their movements.

"Duck!" Rian shouted, as he saw a zombie jumped at Gwen. Gwen ducked, allowing Rian to swing his bat.

"Quick! Go to the van!" Lloyd shouted, and the teacher took the girls hands and pulled them together. While Lloyd, Liam, Payne and Rian, defend them from the zombies.

Sasha stumbled from the rock, and she fell down. The teacher and Gwen were just about to help her, when they saw a zombie bite her. Both of their eyes widen, while Rian who also saw it smashed the head of the zombie.

Jon who saw them, run off the vehicle while the three officers guard the vehicle. Jon helped the teacher, and Gwen while Sasha took Jon's metal pipe.

"What are you doing?!" Jon asked.

"Go take them with you! I will support you!" Sasha smiled bitterly, and Gwen started crying.

Jon saw the bite on her shoulder, and he look at Sasha with admiration. He then carried Gwen, and run to the vehicle while the teacher followed after giving Sasha a hug.

"Guys! You go too!" Sasha shouted, smacking the zombies who was sneaking behind Rian.

"Let's go!" Liam said, giving a Sasha a nod.

"I wouldn't leave you!" Said Payne.

"Go you idiot! It's not the time to be romantic!" Sasha kicked him.

"Rian watch out!" They heard Lloyd shouted.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Their eyes widen as they heard Rian voice, and they quickly turn their heads and saw Rian being bitten by zombies with Lloyd who's trying to help him.

"Liam! Take Payne and Lloyd! You need to survived!" Sasha shouted, smashing the head of another zombie.

"We will never forget you Sasha!" Liam shouted, as he grabbed Payne on the neck, and took Lloyd hands and run to the vehicle, with Sasha covering them.

"Quick! Zombies are coming!" Jon shouted, as he stood in front of the shotgun door along with another officer.

Liam and Lloyd also saw the upcoming zombies and they know they wouldn't make it, so they throw Payne toward them.

"Take Payne with you and leave!" Said Liam, but he was also pushed by Lloyd.

"Go! Take both of them and leave!" Lloyd shouted, while Jon and the officer catched Liam and Payne, and throw them inside the vehicle.

The vehicle then left, leaving Lloyd and Sasha who's now turning into a zombie. Lloyd saw Sasha looking at him with a pleading look, and Lloyd hesitated.

"P-pl-please! L-Lloyd! K-k-kill m-me n-now!" Sasha pleaded.

With tears flowing on Lloyd's handsome face, he smashed Sasha's head two times and he saw her stopped moving, and breathing.

Lloyd sighed, then run off and the zombies chase after him.
