"Amelie, I don't know what went on between you two, but I think it's good to be alive, and I always think Mr. Byron is a good person. He really cares about you, so don't miss him."
"Even you feel that way?"
"Certainly."
"Forget it. I'll be relieved as long as he is safe and sound. Anyway, we're in the same company and will see each other often. There's no need to make things awkward between us."
Amelie turned around and wanted to leave, but was stopped by Belen.
"Amelie, aren't you going in and taking a look?"
"I'd better not. I don't want to get upset," Amelie said bluntly, and then turned and left.
Belen wanted to call Amelie to stop, but she had already gone a long way.
Belen couldn't do anything with them since they were still at odds with each other.
Amelie's condition was better after she stayed in the hospital for two days, during which Chris visited her.
