Chapter 23

We arrive at the pack at four in the afternoon. I hurriedly went to my room and take a long shower. I even shave for god knows why and waited for Lani. She said we need to do extra today.

She arrives having her make-up kit and things that girl uses in this kind of occasion.

"Now Angel, pick the dress you are wearing tonight, so I will know how to do your hair and make-up.'

"I want the silver one.' When I first tried it, I know that it’s the perfect dress for tonight. It’s a mid-thigh tube silver-gray dress and it hugs my every curve and shows my long legs. I look like a Victoria’s secret model when I wear it.

"I’ll do my job now. Hold still and do not move. Leave it to your best-friend.' Lani says.

Lani stops me for looking into the mirror until she finishes what her doing. I told her to hurry since we all have twenty minutes before six. I feel Gabriel is already in the pack house. He might be waiting for me outside.

"Done!' Lani finally says.
