The Demon King

I am sure you all have heard stories about demons and devils out for human souls and suffering. Well this is the real one about the Underworld and its Demon King.

Millions of years ago when the angel Lucifer fell from grace. He walked the earth looking for power and followers. This is where he met Lillith who became his faithful servant. Soon they found the underworld where he became the King. He was known as the Demon King. Before he died he crowned a new king who was just as ferocious as him.

This was a great tradition where the Demon King would pass his crown, but what happens when the King has only 1 daughter who too has disappeared. The Demon King's health took a turn due to the failing search of his daughter, as he died without an heir. Till today every demon is trying to find the traitorous witch along with her servant who kidnapped the princess.

"Mistress, I don't understand why we have kidnapped the royal princess. The penalty for this act is death and the King will not be lenient." A petit figure shrouded under a dark hooded garment said. "Shut up Salem! If my child is raised by that monster I don't know what she will become. Her power is greater than any demon or god that ever existed. She has to understand love, family and friends before she sees the demon world's cruelty." Replied a euphonious voice in a commanding manner.

"Yes Mistress I understand, but why must we send her to the middle world. The humans are so stupid that they are destroying their world even without our interference." Salem countered. "Salem, how dare you oppose your master's orders. I understand the dangers of sending her to that world but it is the safest from the demons. They will look everywhere but the earth. When she turns of age only then will you interfere and help her. You will guide and serve her. But for now farewell my dear baby." she said as she sent the baby towards divine energy. Her hands burnt slightly under the holy energy while the child passed through painlessly. "Goodbye Is..."

As the baby was sent to earth the woman's voice faded away. But tears could be seen in her eyes. Tears filled with sadness and happiness all at the same time.
