Pole

Zero awoke with a pounding head-ack, only to find himself sitting in the hospital bed and the same room as before, only it was still intact. Zero quickly looked down, pulling his gown up to his left thy to find it was completely fine. Zero was running his fingers along the skin when his phone suddenly started ringing. Zero's fear came to life as his Grandmother's caller ID appeared on the screen.

Zero grabbed the phone as he bolted towards the window and closed the blinds. "Grandma! I know you wont understand, however something huge is going to happen in the next couple seconds. Monsters are going to appear, just trust me and hide!" His Grandmother seemed confused on the other side of the phone. "What do you me-." Zero cut her off before she could waste more time.

"The phones are going to die soon, Meet me at the h-" The phone shut off and Zero cursed before moving towards the door and turning the lock as he tried his hardest to ignore the screams. Zero quickly made his way to the backroom, to which he once more locked the door. 'I traveled back in time?' A window appeared at his thoughts.

-Notice-

Unique Ability-<Soul Displacement> has been used, sending you <12 hours> into the past.

The window confirmed what Zero was thinking. Figuring the window could reply to him, Zero once more thought a question. 'How did the ability activate?'

-Notice-

Unique Ability <Soul Displacement> can only be activated through the absorption and use of another's soul.

Zero didn't know if he should be excited that he could travel through time, or if he should be horrified by the fact that it took "Another's soul." Although an average person would be horrified, Zero had overcome the average person's emotions a long time ago. 'So I only have to absorb another's soul to travel through time?'

-Notice-

Due to Unique Ability being used, Souls needed to activate has been increased.

Souls needed to activate Unique Ability (0/5)

'So my "Unique Ability" costs more the more I use it... So I should think of it as a limited effect. Window, am I able to acquire more then 5 souls?'

-Notice-

Souls are the <ERROR> <ERROR> <ERROR>.

Zero found the Window to be riddled with Errors, not giving him any information. 'The fact that there is the first three words showing, it means that the words were deliberately hidden.' Zero heard a loud, muted squawk. 'That must be that long beaked creature.' Just as Zero was thinking it, there was was a loud bang that came from the room.

'And that is no doubt the green freaks.' Zero knew he couldn't use the "Death Beam", or it would leave him defenseless, while also creating a bulls eye to were he was. 'Is there a way to create a controlled beam?' Zero couldn't help but feel bummed out when the window didn't appear to answer his question. 'And now I know it is only listening for key questions.'

Just as he finished the thought, there was a bang from the other side of the door before a crashing and all to familiar sound could be heard. "Gleguk!" "Gleguk!" Zero braced himself against the far wall, his hand held up, when he thought about an idea. 'If I can use it through my leg, then it means it can come out of any were.

Zero looked at his opened hand for a second, before closing all but his pinky finger. Zero braced his wrist with his other hand. He had seen the effect a smaller exit hole had on a water hose, and he wasn't excited what a five foot circle of death would do to a pinky.

The Bathroom door was hit with something from the other side, the hinges groaning loudly with each hit. Zero took a deep breath as he could feel the door was coming down on the next hit. just as he had predicted, the door slammed the ground, a small green monster looking up from were he laid on the door.

Without pause, Zero willed the same beam he had seen before to come out of his pinky. As before, Zero felt a burning run through his chest, then to his arm, before his pinky felt like it had been submerged in lava. A 12 inch circle roared out of Zero's pinky, punching a hole through the green monsters hip, nearly completely separating its waist.

Zero looked at on as the green monster started to scream, before looking daggers towards Zero. the thing started to furiously crawl towards Zero, only to slow and die before it could make it half way to him. Zero was about to let out a sigh of relief when something slammed into his right shoulder. "AH!" Zero cried out in pain at the small metal pole that was now pinning him to the wall. Zero turned his attention towards the door way, were the second Green monster was standing.

as Zero lifted his hand and closed all but his ring finger this time, the monster took off running. Zero dropped his finger, as well as his hand while he was at it. 'Why do I keep getting impaled with so much shit!' Zero didn't know if he should take the pole out or not, as he was sure he would start to bleed. 'I should have learned first aid.' Zero was about to pull the pole out when his attention was suddenly drawn towards two grey shadows that started to float into the air from the green beasts body.

'Souls!' Without a second thought, Zero tried ripping the pole out of the wall, only to find it wouldn't budge. Zero looked at the pole, and his shoulder. 'If its pinning me to the wall... then its already through me.' Zero cursed himself as he pushed, only instead of pushing the pole out of the wall, he pushed himself against it. Zero felt like his teeth would crack any second as he clenched them so he wouldn't scream.

As Zero made it the last bit off the pole, he collapsed to the ground. Knowing he didn't have the luxury of sitting around, Zero sighed before pushing himself to his feet with an audible grunt. 'Now, for my prize.' Zero reach out and grabbed at the "Soul." As his hand made contact with it, it was once more absorbed into his hand. Zero repeated the process with the second floating Soul, getting a window in return.
