Hanging in the air was the demon man's words thickening the atmosphere with tension and apprehension.

The Mages shared glances at each other — bewildered and confused glances, and etched in their faces were fear and uncertainty. Never before had an outsider stepped foot in the Hall, and never before had someone's feet touched the map of the Continent drawn on the ground.

Not even the Meisters themselves.

The High Meister's countenance was shrouded in composure, but behind that mask, there was turmoil and worry brewing.

There was only one thing the present situation spelt and it was trouble. Never had this ever happened. The Council of Meisters on no occasion has ever been interrupted. Who was this being?
