Chapter 2: The Weapons

In front of us all was Indradev himself. The god of thunder and the wielder of the Vajra.

The things that were myth according to many of us are proving to be true. He was handsome, even famous models couldn't compare to him.

He was adorned with gold and jewelries. He had no weapons probably since he didn't need to face us humans.

He has medium black hair and black eyes. He was also emanating a godly aura but thankfully the devta had restrained the aura so that we don't have any problems.

I bowed in front of him.

"Pranam Indradev"

"Ayushman Bhava Putra"

[For those who don't understand.

Agastya asked for blessing and Indradev gave his blessings to him]

"HOW THE HELL IS INDRADEV HERE, AGASTYA?" Aditya started to yell. Ufff he has no bloody patience.

"Calm down Adi and surely he has some sort of explanation for the mess that is happening right now" I replied calmly.

Aditya started to breath in a rhythmic pattern since it can reduce his anger.

"Agastya is right, we need to listen to Indradev to find a solution to this mess" A voice suddenly erupted from the mass. My eyes went towards the direction of the voice and saw that it was Sana Sharma.

She is a beautiful young lady, with brownish hair and green eyes. Many of the boys have a crush on her but the feelings were not reciprocated.

There were rumors that Sana has a boyfriend or a crush, but it was never confirmed. Before anyone say I like to hear gossip, I came across this information because of Aditya who likes to listen to gossips.

"Thank you, Sana, for the support."

"You're welcome, Agastya."

We all calmed our self and started to listen to Indradev's narration.

"As you may know the Yug you are currently living in is Kaliyuga where evil is at the peak, the rakshasas have invaded the earth because of the negative energy that has been accumulated in all of the human beings. Their main goal is to kill all the humans and devas and rule all of the Lokas(realms).

In the past there was a prophecy about this matter, the prophecy stated that when Rakshasas are free and start to annihilate the human race there would many people who would emerge, and with the help of divine weapons they will stop this invasion and help mankind to survive. From those people there would be avatars of Gods especially of the Supreme God Shiva (name of the avatar is unknown) and Lord Vishnu (Nickname of the Avatar is Kalki).

It was very vague, and we didn't believe it that time since we were absolutely sure that because of our protection nothing could harm the human being. But ultimately the prophecy held true.

I know this is a burden on all of your shoulders but unfortunately you all are the chosen ones along with others who are not present in this school."

Just as Indradev finished his speech, chaos started. Everyone was running and screaming, they were trying to find a way to escape since they scared of the responsibilities.

Me, Aditya, Sana and a few others were present who didn't follow the crowd. I didn't follow the crowd because of my battle excitement also because I always wanted to do something good for mankind.

"Please calm them down man, my ears are practically ringing" Aditya whispered to me.

I sighed since it was such a hassle to scream but I had to do it.

"EVERYONE GET IN YOUR PLACE"

Just as I yelled everyone returned back to their positions and remained silent. They were probably scared and followed since they knew of the beatdown I gave to one of the bullies who tried to bully me.

He was in the hospital for 1 week while I was suspended for two weeks. At least Aditya was kind enough to send me the works.

"I will repeat this again I will give you all weapons that best suit you and weapon's mastery will be also engraved in all of your mind. So no need to fear the Rakshasas since you all can be more powerful than them if you train" Indradev told us,

A bright glowing orb left his body and then it broke into multiple small pieces which settled on all of our hands.

Suddenly the bright small orbs that were in our hands exploded and from it emerged divine weapons.

Many people had different type of weapons like swords, bow, gauntlets, spears, mace etc.

But some had two weapons on their hands. I was lucky enough to get two weapons too which were two gauntlets on both hands and a trident.

Aditya had a sword and bow while Sana only had a spear. Indradev viewed all our weapons and then with a snap of his fingers, he disappeared also the time which had been stopped started again.

The Rakshasas were rushing at us but this time we were all ready. My blood was boiling, and adrenaline was pumping. Many of the weapon wielding students started to attack the demons blindly.

Looks like some people are so dumb they can't even use weapons even if they get weapon mastery granted to them. We also needed a plan since these were Rakshasas who were extremely knowledgeable in the art of fighting and warfare.

While we are ordinary teenagers who had been granted weapon mastery just recently.

The Rakshasas started to laugh and hit all of the students that were close with their gigantic club.

The students were sent flying back and probably had no broken bones from the impact since Indradev granted us high physical attributes.

"Hey Agastya"

"Yeah Aditya"

"Do you see the mantras that are written on our weapons only?"

"Yep"

I was shocked at the new information, so I ordered Aditya to help them fight since they were still novice. He nodded and I sat on the ground in meditative position since I was going to meditate.

I closed my eyes and cleared my mind. Slowly but surely tantric knowledges started to enter my mind and also how to use the special powers that our (me and Aditya) weapons grant us.

After a while of formulating plans in my mind, my eyes opened and I felt calm, serene and ready to win this fight.

"So, I assume you have a plan in your mind."

"Of course, I do Adi."

After hearing my word Aditya started in happiness since the Rakshasas can finally be defeated now.

Aditya had a very deep faith in me since childhood and even I don't know the reason for this faith.
