The Prototype Backstory Part 2

Edmonds beach. A normal gathering place to have fun or soak up the suns rays, a place where children could laugh, dance or simply play in the sand and make sand castles, where adults could swim underwater for items of interest such as seashells or the odd glass bottle. where families could gather and be friendly with other families. However Edmonds was abandoned due to unusual aquatic events that caused it and surrounding areas to be abandoned. Albeit there was one individual present resting on a rock formation at that very beach.

This individual wore blue jeans and black shoes. He also wore a white button up shirt, a gray hoodie and a black jacket with a set of red wings on the back. This was Alex Mercer at the age of 13. After running away from his family were frightened of him, he had to fight to survive in the path of life that was thrust on him. He later made the clothing he now has out of his own biomass. Over the last 3 years he's learned a number of abilities, gliding, wall crawling, thermal vision, as well as the ability to transfer his virus and make humans into zombie-like creatures, that last one however was found out through accidental means. He also developed a few weapons. A four pronged whip called Whipfist, a blade, two giant heavy hands called Hammerfist, and Musclemass, at present he had his claws activated.

Alex manipulated his clothing, tendrils came appeared holding what looked to be a photograph, Alex took the photo and gazed down at it. The photo was of Alex, Dana and uncle Josh 3 years ago before Alex's change. He looked down at himself

(Alex inner monologue)

'I can't believe this happened. I became a freak of nature, a monster to the face of the Earth. What did that monstrosity do to me? What did it choose me for? Why can't it let me have a normal life? I feel like hell now'

He stared down at the photo, thinking about the past when suddenly he hears a voice, a woman's voice

"Hello"

Alex turned his head up to look at who had spoken, what he saw actually surprised him even

The person who had greeted him came as a shock, that shock being because it wasn't exactly human, the woman looked like a combination of humanoid and aquatic in nature. It had aqua-blue skin, and a small blue-green round kok on the top of her head. Her hair resembled that of a stingrays tail, Her eyes were like white shiny pearls. She wore a semi-detached purple dress, revealing her stomach. Under the water, where her legs should have been was instead a tail resembling that of an aquatic mammal. She looked at him with a smile, a smile so pure and innocent. Alex was at a loss for words, but in the end managed to pull himself together.

"Umm...hello. Nice to meet you too. I guess" He said

The fish-like woman held her hand over her mouth and giggled, obviously finding his reaction comical to her.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Aqualeily. Can you tell me who you are?"

Alex gave a slight smirk and replied "Alex, Alex Mercer"

[Bottom of the sea. 5-7 minutes before meeting][Aqualeily]

While humans had visited Edmonds beach, they had never realized they weren't alone. Within the depths of the ocean is an underwater city. The city was made from gems and a gold-like metal. it was populated by creatures resembling humans but with a slight difference, they appeared to have aquatic-like appearances. They had the ability to turn their human-like legs into that of a fish tail or even octopus tentacles. They had blue skin and white eyes likes pearls and hair similar to that of a fish's tail in appearance. These human-like aquatic lifeforms were the Aquatinalius. They were a group of being created when the world was new by Yaldaboth, for the purpose in serving their instincts within water

When they were freed from his control they started to distance themselves from humans, many of the Aquatinalius believed humans were not enemies, as some attempted to befriend humans.

Aqualeily made a thoughtful expression before replying "Alex Mercer? That's a nice name"

"Thanks" Alex spoke in a withdrawn voice. Aqualeily looked down and appeared surprised
