Chapter Fifty Nine: The Witches Deal

" Are you okay sweetie? " Raven rushed to Penny and wrapped her arms tightly around her daughter, having noticed the bruises on Penny's body.

" Did she do this to you? " Raven squeezes tightly around Penny and only releasing the embrace when Penny groans in pain. " Don't worry about it " Penny tried to brush off the fight and evidence thereof but Raven was not willing to let it go so easily.

" Kara..if you did this..I'm going to end you..right here..right now" Raven threatened though Kara did not back down from Raven. " Yes..I did it. Because your daughter wanted to fight me. I brought her here so that we could all work together and instead, she wanted a confrontation. And because she hasn't been trained well, I handed her ass to her" Kara smirked confidently which only enraged Raven who attempted to Charge at Kara but was blocked by Shawn.

" It's not worth it Rave.." Shawn was doing all he could to keep Raven away from Kara but was finding it increasingly more difficult to do so as Raven was extremely upset.

" How can you let her do this to our child? " Raven screamed at Shawn who shook his head. " Penny is bruised up but she is fine. You can help heal her wounds. I promise you, I am going to handle Kara. So please go attend to our kiddo, okay? " Shawn pushed Raven towards Penny who finally relented. Shawn then turned to Kara and approached her, knowing full well that he had to remain calm while handling the situation considering Kara was already unstable.

" Kara..you mentioned that you wanted to team up with Penny and Ember..why?" Shawn Inquired.

" There is a threat here in the Underworld..apparently a rather big one. And I was informed that we are all going to have to work together to stop it. Do I want too? No. But this threat is going to intervene in my own plans.." Kara answered calmly.

" Okay, and how did you find out about this threat? " Shawn was curious about what Kara could be referring too knowing that she would not align herself with anyone unless necessary.

" Gabriel.." Kara answered, as she deep into the pitch black voids that were Shawn's eyes.

" Gabriel is dead Kara..." Shawn sighed, believing that Kara had completely lost her mind now. He knew that the death of Gabriel had taken its toll on her, but he had always talk to. She could recover someday. But if she is seen, Gabriel will then her mind. Then that seems to be evidence of that there's no hope for her.

" Listen, You can believe me or not. But I'm telling you that Gabriel believes we need to work together to stop the threat. I don't know what the threat is I don't know who it is. All I do know is that it's going to be a big problem and we have to stop it.." Kara explained.

Now Keera took the time to step forward and inform everyone about the information she knew.

" The threats name is Adette" She answered which caught the attention of both Ember and Penny who looked to Keera.

" Who? " Shawn questioned, having never heard of this person until this moment.

" A girl..she looks young..but she is definitely not young. She is some type of witch..or hybrid..or something. All I can tell you is that she is very strong" Keera answered.

" I was working with her, keeping tabs on Penny and Ember just as much as I was working with Kara. However, if I had to choose, Kara is the least threatening " Keera looks to Kara who glares back at her.

" I'm not just talking about strength or power. I'm talking about sheer malevolent intentions. She is strong for sure, and she understand the ancient magics better than any of us here do by a long shot. This girl, is a problem.." Keera added which finally sparked enough anger within Penny to speak up.

" Yeah well me and Ember met her. And yeah, she seems weird but she also seems to have the best intentions for the Underworld and she Also has the best plan to stop the reset" Penny's words were followed by a long silence in the room.

" I don't know what the hell is wrong with each and every one of you but what I do know is that we don't exactly have a better plan. So I'm thinking maybe Adette isn't exactly the main threat here..maybe Kara is.." Penny glared at Kara who laughed at the accusation.

" Penny.. I can assure you that if I wanted you dad. I would have killed you within the first three seconds of our fight. Which is why your parents aren't actually going to punish me..because they know what I speak is the truth. They know if I wanted you dead..then you'd be dead" Kara looked to Raven who refused to look directly at Kara.

" If you guys wanna assume that i'm the threat and that's fine. I didn't wanna team up in the first place. I'm only doing this because gabriel requested it" Kara rolled her eyes as she waved her hand behind her and fell back into a chair that appeared behind her to support her.

" You don't have good intentions Kara.." Penny pointed out. " You're just as much of an issue with the underworld as anything else" Penny barked which relieved another rolling of the eyes by Kara.

" Sweetie, if you only knew half the crap I've been through, then you would stop coming at me with all this hate. You know bits and pieces of my story but you don't know the whole story. Your parents had no issues trying to save themselves from the reset but was perfectly fine with everyone else dying.." Kara looked to Shawn who held his head down.

" Kara..you know that's not true" Shawn tried to excuse but Kara cut him off.

" Yes it is. You and Raven both were perfectly fine with letting us die. And don't say you mourned for us because that really doesn't mean shit to me. And it doesn't bring Gabriel back either" Kara crossed her arms as Raven finally stepped over towards Kara.

" Listen..Kara..you are right. We didn't try to save you guys. We watch you both die time and time again. And that is something that we can never be forgiven for. But that doesn't mean that you are gabriel was never our friends. We freaking love you guys and we still do. You both were toxic for one another but we loved you just the same!" Raven cried out.

" There are so many pieces of the puzzle to all this that you've never even seen. Things that we never wanted you both to see because if you did, it would've messed you both up. Things that me and Shawn have to live with..Things that we can never unsee. If you think that losing your child was bad..I assure you..you've both done worse than that in the past.." Ravens words were keeping Kara fixated and yet silent.

" And dammit..I just..I wish you two had worked. I freaking did everything I could to ensure that you both did but it never worked. No matter what I did. No matter what Shawn did..it just never worked. But you don't have to believe us on that either. You can hate us both till the end of time But it doesn't change the facts..that we are sorry" Raven hoped that her words had actually sunk through into Kara's mind but Kara's silence was not quite reassuring.

" I..I am going to bring him back " Kara finally muttered out.

" And fine..I'll help you do it dammit. Kara I will help bring him back to you. If there is a way to do it, then I will do it. But for the love of all that is pure in this damn world..can we have our damn friend back? Can we have Kara back? Can we have the strongest witch I know? The most naturally gifted witch in the entire world? Can we have that..please? " Raven pleaded.

Kara thought long and hard on the request from Raven and finally rose to her feet. " Bring him back to me.." Kara extended her hand and shook Ravens firmly.

Just as Kara was about to release her grip from the handshake, Raven rears her fist back and punches Kara as hard as she can in her cheek.

" But don't ever touch my daughter..again" Raven straightens her cloak and turns back to Penny as Kara slowly gets back to her feet.

" Agreed.
