Alaska, USA.

Slowly, I opened my eyes. Glancing around, I realized I had lost hours and that someone had dressed me for winter. My winter boots scraped the floor as two big thugs sporting American military uniforms dragged me to a hangar. I tried to move but it was impossible, they held me tight and sat me in an interrogation room and, as if I were a dangerous criminal, they chained me to the bolted chair. The double-way mirror was right in front of me and I had no doubt there were people watching me from the other side. In that moment, Agent Chang entered the room. She took one look at my handcuffs and wheeled around.

"Corporal!" she barked. A marine with a nasty expression came in. "Yes?

"Who gave the order to handcuff inspector Pitbull?" she said angrily.

"I did it!" A gray-haired man interrupted. I felt my blood boil when I recognized him; Mr. Bulkface, the General Secretary of the Interpol.

"You son of a bitch! Traitor!" I yelled at him, "Why did you hide it from me? Release me! I will kill you with my own hands! You betrayed me! I trusted you! Migdalia trusted you! You told me that it was an accident! Release me! I will kill you even if it's the last thing I do! Release me!"

"Peter, I'm sorry, but we couldn't tell you what happened. I'm so sorry. Please, excuse me for the way you were brought here; it was not my idea. I have some pictures from another attack here, in this folder. Would you take a look, please?"

"Why did you hide it from me?

"I'm really sorry, Peter, but we were so close to catch that bastard. If I had told you, you would have killed him in the first opportunity. We couldn't take that risk."

"Was it worth it? Have you gained anything from him?" I looked between Agent Chang and Mr. Bulkface, "If the Russians haven't been able to get any information from him with all their interrogation techniques, then why do you need him alive?"

"As you already know, I don't believe in your crazy theories and I think your involvement is a mistake, but I need you to take a look at these pictures. It seems that there're some powerful people who are interested in your opinion. So for once in your life, give us a professional opinion."

"If it wasn't you, you fucking traitor, then who brought me here? Who did it?!"

A deep, gruff voice spoke from behind me. "It was me, inspector Peter Pitbull!"
