The thought of marriage

Lydia's speech was nothing short of mesmerizing. As she stood on that stage, radiating confidence and authority, I couldn't help but be impressed by her. The way she commanded the room, the way every eye was fixated on her – it was a testament to her leadership and the strength of her character. I felt a surge of pride, knowing that this incredible woman was someone I held dear.

As Lydia descended from the stage, the applause still ringing in the air, I watched as she mingled with the guests, graciously accepting their praises. People were beginning to leave, the night winding down, and I knew that soon it would be time for me to return to the demon realm.

"Aurelia, time to go back," my mother's voice broke through my thoughts. I turned to see her standing there, her expression a mix of sternness and resignation. I nodded, knowing she was right, but before I could move, I felt a gentle hand on mine.
